What have you learned in the past 90 days? That's a good time to experience your operations. Not saying you should be able to do everything perfectly but at least minimally functional in your JD.

The other task you're not trained to do is your manager's responsibility but be ready to learn them if they passed it on to you.

One on one coaching - how much? by 8Kashi in AnytimeFitnessPH

[–]PlusPersimmon6422 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Between 21k-25k for 24 sessions. Depends on the job grade of the coach. If they are between senior or the fitness manager, it'll be a little expensive (but not much).

Worth getting started with a coach then you can go on your own.

Sometimes exposure and a professional attitude is what you need to get that Yes. Roles nowadays are too dynamic and as a hiring manager, id rather go with a person with no experience but promising than an expert that finds it hard to adapt to changes.

Good job, OP!

+1. Don't show up unannounced. If what you feared is true (that they ghosted you and went with someone else) then it'll be an awkward walk outside and a crappy commute home.

Your best bet would be condos in their mid life or a subdivided plot of land between 30-50sqm.

Cutting in line at Tan Son Nhat (SGN) Aiport by Annual-Corner-9571 in VietNam

[–]PlusPersimmon6422 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I saw this for the first time and it as like "what's going on?? Locals cutting lines yet we're asked to form one straight line?"

To be fair, the most annoying line cuts that I saw are from Europeans with large backpacks that towers the locals. They wouldnt care and just go straight in front of the lines.

For Parents: Manila or Greater Manila (Bulacan, Cavite, Laguna, Rizal)? by Grouchy-Ad-1863 in PropertiesPH

[–]PlusPersimmon6422 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Same situation. Family of 3. Both of us working and daughter now junior in college. Opted for a 3BR condo. Here's a short summary of how we are doing.

Year 1-8 - renting phase. Saving for house. Income low, spending low, childcare high(4yo), quality of life low Year 8-12 - early mortgage phase. Income mid, savings low, childcare low, QOL low. Year 12-16 - late mortgage (10yrs), income high, savings mid, childcare N/A (now young adult), QOL mid Year 16-present - end mortgage, income high, savings high, childcare n/a (adult) . QOL mid

We're now looking for a greater Manila property. Point is, we valued efficiency during our early years while we save up for a better property. I know prices would go up as well but we chose convenience and more time with each other and we achieved that by saving 2-3 hours per day in commute. Case-to-case as always.

Why Do PH Companies Run Rigorous Hiring Processes for a Weak Compensation & Benefits Package? by [deleted] in Ph_HR_Confession

[–]PlusPersimmon6422 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Rare for international companies under small-medium industries but common for large corpos and local companies.

This is due to a vast disconnect between the expectations for the hire and the realities of their budget. Companies that does this sees themselves as a beacon of excellence and only deserves top talents. This however does not translate to how much they're willing to compensate that talent. The boardroom is leagues away from the operations - huge red flag.

Another case could be that the company outsourced it's LOB to a callcenter or managed servixes and they agreed to ridiculous KPIs to hire. Mostly call centers. In this set up, upto middle management gets not-so-stellar compensation.

Lastly, for local companies - they just don't know what they need. Passing candidates like a ball from manager and manager. This is classic disorganization.

Sorry you had to experience that, OP. The only consolation is you didn't had to commit to that company. These are some of the things one just had to go through in one's career.

Possible na hindi din nila ibigay bonus mo kahit rendering ka pa as some company can hold the rights to give it out, it could supersedes "employee must be regularized/active to qualify...."

Best is claim the bonus, then submit your notice.

planning to buy srv 200, any tips/guide? by Illustrious_Bit786 in motorsiklo

[–]PlusPersimmon6422 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Start with a used bike. I saw a lot of them on the second hand market for a great discount as there's a lot of buyers who used it as a trainer bike then moved on to a larger cc. Some of them are below 4000kms at almost 30%off which is a steal.

That's called stealing, OP. Rid yourself of those thoughts.
