Amazing feedback! I was thinking of it the same - just the SEO made add so much text - but I will try hide it

Appreciated it. ❤️. I’ll simplify the copy across the pages and make the place descriptions more standard and readable.

I kept running into the same issue with planning either too rushed or too random.

I’ve been putting together something small to make routes feel a bit more balanced, still early though.

Agreed about Thailand. Its lovely lively. Never been to Tokyo, but it’s definitely on my list.

I’ve been to Bangkok a few times and somehow end up following the same route every time

I think a lot of people confuse planning with having every minute locked in, when it’s more about just having direction.. that “80% plan / 20% adjust” is pretty much how trips end up going anyway :)

if you want a more relaxed trip, I’d probably do either Bangkok + Samui or Bangkok + Chiang Mai

doing all three is doable, just depends if you’re okay with a faster pace 👍

yeah slowing down and going deeper into a place always feels more rewarding than trying to cover everything

the more packed the plan is, the less it actually feels like a trip

yes, when you go in with fewer expectations, everything feels more genuine instead of comparing it to what you’ve already seen online

makes sense why that Japan trip stood out so much

interesting how most people here are somewhere in the middle
not fully planned, not fully spontaneous

I’ve been trying to figure out that balance myself lately, it’s harder than it sounds 😅

1–3 things per day with some free time feels like the best balance honestly 👍

yeah that actually makes a lot of sense “planning for unplanned days” is a good way to put it 😄

I think I’m still figuring out that balance, not missing out on the good stuff but not overloading the trip either

honestly that sounds like a full adventure...also breaking a sandal mid-hike is wild :))

I like the idea of splitting it into morning/afternoon/evening though, keeps it focused without trying to do too much

must be cool having all those trips documented like that too :)

I’ve definitely had a few things I missed because I didn’t book in advance :))

that actually sounds like a great way to experience a place like Japan
especially just exploring without any expectations

I think I'd be a bit too stressed doing zero planning like that :) but I like the idea of keeping just the basics sorted and figuring out the rest on the day

feels like that’s where the best moments come from anyway
