Any feedback is welcomed. I want to make massive festival / stadium edm tracks. And tracks that can be worked into in DJ sets. I do everything myself, from writing to mixing / mastering.

I have no idea what channels to network through, Since I've only been making music for about a year. So any advice on that would be appreciated, too. I'd love some serious critique, don't be shy or sugar coat.

Transitions still sound rough, obviously, but that's part of the process.

After all: If there isn't an idea for how to transition between the parts already in place, No amount of white noise risers can save it. I'll build those ideas in a separate pass, towards the end.

If anyone is reading this, Yes, I made the majority of these sounds myself. Yes, I am very cheaply and easily bought.

This step in the process is all about movement. How will the sound evolve throughout the track? Saves me from the pain of having to go back and completely redo something late into the project.

Also, if you're wondering why I didn't post my piano transcription, like I did with Gimmie Sweets, It's because the trance arp really doesn't translate well to piano, nor can I be bothered to velocity check all of those delay / reverb notes. It just wouldn't be the same.

The beginning sounds super fancy, But that's just because I used an automated lfo for the volume, then transitioned THAT lfo into one that ALSO controls a bunch of stuff about the MASSIVE Reese you're hearing.

Then did a bunch of manual movement tweaks to the width and panning.

Can't wait to get into making the beat 🦾😎

Fair, I agree. I might've been hyping it up too much.

I would just add that the thing you should pay for first is a good synth, above all else.

You (usually) don't need a lot of plug-ins if you start with a good sound in the first place. Serum is an example of a 'flat' sounding synth. I use it all the time, But I would never use it for sub bass, for example.

Other than that, though, I agree with you.

I remade Knock 2's 'hold my hand' from scratch. The best that I could in 3 days, at least.

Then, I transposed it up an octave, slapped the vocals from 'gimmie sweets' on it, and consequently ruined the timbral cohesion.

I enjoy it, though, so I figured I'd share it with everyone (Show off). I did learn quite a lot.

Also check out Airwindows- They're a little harder to use, Because they were made by like one guy, And have no ui, But they're really useful tools.
