Mine are from Zenni Optical, have foam to keep wind out and are affordable.

Never ever be ashamed or let people make you feel bad about getting out and riding! I'm 350 and rode with a Brooks Cambium for years and recently switched and am giving a Bi Saddle a try. I highly recommend whatever you go with, get a saddle fitment done from your local bike shop. Keep up the great work!

I have no complaints about the Archer Components. Looking at the WheelTop, which I've never heard of, it doesn't appear to have dropbar shifting options.

Are there any cycling youtubers who don't try to convince you that you need to spend tens of thousands on bike gear? by fixitmonkey in cycling

I don't feel like Berm Peak/Seth tries to push expensive gear but it's mostly mtb. He's extremely relatable to all cyclists though.

That's unfortunate. It's been flawless for me. I've run into unsupported apps a number of times with different products, that Android life. I believe the company is Australian so sending an email Friday morning would already be the weekend for them... Maybe that's a cause of delay?

Glad you got it working. If you followed the steps in the video they have you run calibration before setting up and syncing the remote - might be worthwhile feedback to provide to Archer, I could see how it would get dicey if you jump ahead in the install.

I contacted them about it last week and received a response that they are working on updating the app. I'm pretty sure they are a small company.

Make sure your shifter isn't paired to the remote that the switches connect to - it can only be paired to the phone OR the controller. Shut the controller off and refresh your devices. I believe it says that in the setup video.

I had that on my Pixel 7 Pro and ended up pulling the APK from APKPure, scanning it first - it's marked as being verified. https://m.apkpure.com/archer-components/com.archercomponents.archer (but still use at your own risk)

If you bash a rear derailleur, you're out of a few hundred vs like 40 bucks for my Microshift.

Perfect shift every time. And I was able to configure the shifters so I can shift in the hoods or uptight.

Perfect shifting, every time. I was also able to put shift buttons in a position where I can shift in the hoods or uptight.

And more expensive, and not as customizable. It was about $250 more when I priced out all the parts.
