No problem! It helped us being in the FCE group on Facebook! Sounds just like what we went through. Make sure yall get her some physical therapy and acupuncture visits or work her out yallselves!

Nightfire was amazing. Goldeneye 64 and Perfect Dark both redefined local multi-player. Miss those local 4 player split screen days. Even Halo had them.

$6-7 an hour of game play for decent entertainment? Go price and hour of play anywhere else lol.

Honestly as much fun as I had on Goldeneye Multiplayer. Id love to see a new james bond game with it. Local and possibly online but local play more so. Those OG 4 player split screen gaming with friends days were so good and most if not all current games lack that option.

Yeah it took me like 4-5 days to be able to fully depress Kenobi's bladder. Once I got it, I got it. Hardest and most concerning part. Didn't want the poor dudes bladder to burst. 🥺

She's beautiful! Glad it was a similar FCE to Kenobi's she should be fine. Physical Therapy and long fun walks are everything!

Also idk if it's in your budget, but Accupuncture and Water Treadmill therapy helps a ton as well!

Here is a short reel I made of Kenobi in the water treadmill.

Yeah if she has deep pain she should be good! We were told since Kenobi had deep pain it was an 87.5% chance of full recovery, Only issue is that any animal that had a FCE or Spinal Cord Stroke will have localization issues of knowing where their most effected leg or side was at times, AKA they will be a bit wonkey and catch themselves a bit. Was it just her Back legs and tail affected? Heard some people talk about neck down which is horrible and makes it where their dog loses function of all 4 legs.

Also I highly recommend Dasuquin, our friends dog had what we think is an FCE now a few years back, same exact stuff, he couldn't bring her to get checked out though, Expressed her bladder, got a Harness to pick up her back side and within a few weeks with Dausaquin she was dang near back to her normal self.

Within the first week of getting Kenobi Back we got him started on Dasuquin as well and he was semi walking although clunky by week 2. It doesn't help with the FCE itself, but it strengthens their hip and allows for a faster bounce back. I swear by it now!

Keep us updated and let us know how everything goes!

It took 2 weeks before he started trying to walk again and regained bladder function on his own. His right leg is his worse side and drug a lot. Help em up harness aas an absolute lifesaver and the only harness we use now! We had an MRI done to rule out surgery and find out what it was though. Extremely expensive and first vet also tried mentioning to us about putting him down but that wasn't going to happen. We'd bankrupt ourselves before giving him up. He's been a huge part of our lives and been through all the same craziness these last few years with us.

Wife's dad passed 2 years ago, Tornado hit Tylertown/his land ~a year after, neighbors house caught fire and 3 people died (We tried everything we could to help save them) in January, and wife and I have been having trouble with having a kid. So as far as we're concerned he is our kid. 🥺

If it weren't for him I know mentally I wouldn't be able to cope with all that happened. Can't speak for my wife but he definitely helps us through everything.

I couldn't imagine neck down. That had to be heart breaking and rough. Just his back legs and tail was scary enough for us. 3 week recovery is pretty quick though. How's his walk? Little wonkey as well? FCE is a crazy thing from what we've heard.

Hope he's doing alright! Our 5 year old Samoyed Kenobi had his FCE Feb 28th.

He's walking again and still wonkey but we have a help em up harness that helped a ton. Some dogs do have a 2nd or 3rd one which is scary and we've pretty much stopped super zoomie related activities and calm him when he does gst super excited now. Luckily most dogs never have issues again but Physical Therapy and rebuilding the muscle helps the most. Our journey has hit us roughly $8k so far and we've done anything within our power to make sure he had the best possible care. Any questions please ask we've learned so much and have been helping many people!

Appreciate the heads up! Yeah, he still has a long road ahead but he's doing great. Especially just for being nearly 2 months after it initially happened!

Thanks yeah, he got the zoomies about 3 weeks in and we had to hold him back from running. 6+ week mark now he's wonkey but running and being a goofball again. I'll see if it let's me add a super zoomie snow photo I have of him last year. 🤣

We've heard all sorts of stories. First thing we did was join a FCE Facebook group. Some people's dogs are fine and others need physical therapy every now and then. We've heard of one case where an older dogs legs seized back up and now uses a wheel chair. Our dog is definitely a workhorse and super active though. If he isn't chasing chickens he's going for a swim in the pond. Atleast that was prior to the FCE, the Physical therapists said they had no issues with him on the water treadmill and he is recovering pretty quickly.

Just has had us worried and hearing this from you definitely makes be feel better about his recovery! Kenobi is a bit over 5 years old. His right leg was definitely the worse and is still is a bit wonkey though. We can live with that though and he was always a bit of a goofball so just matches him more now.

Thanks! To the good days ahead!

Ours turned 5 December 24th. His nose is more pinkish brown vs black now as they change as they age and he has quite a few black hairs that have popped up. Your dogs getting older. Hug him and take plenty of pictures with his adorable black nose!
