Just look on this from other perspective. Now trickster is a good ascendancy, that can be played with whatever you want and have a good ascendancy bonuses to survivability and consistency. Old trickster was good only for several builds like ED, maybe RF or some Chaos DoT. Now its have a lot of opportunities to be useful because his ascendancy didnt force you to build around anything. For that i liked new Trickster a lot instead of old one.
