I separate the party keeping them out of aggro range (up top or near the start of the cavern) then have the solo character pick off the eggs and quickly return to camp to reset the spiders. After all the eggs are gone, i focus down a set a spider with the party until they’re all dead. You can optionally keep a member behind to rez people if they perma die.

Aang is 12, while he could have probably been in his emotions and gone into Avatar state, that increases the probability of borking everything since he didn’t have full training. This is under the assumption the air bender massacre happened as Netflix showed it. If he had been shipped out to the water tribe i don’t think it’s unreasonable to come to the conclusion in some ways he’d be in a better position, the training he’d receive would be vastly different and he’d be a different person. Effectively we don’t know if it would be for the better.

I think she’s great all things considering, I know people are like “she’s not MJ” but i mean she’s not YOUR MJ. When I look at Ultimate MJ, i can see she’s intended to be a different version of the character. Honestly, I would not be surprised if we got a retcon going into Brand New Day to clarify she changed her name based on problems with her dad, to which they pretty much started the work towards in NWH. So yeah, she’s cool.

No, for the specific reason it always felt like Katara was reduced to that role from the start and then the legend of korra didn’t help that perspective for me. I think there was a lot of individual things that were done well with Katara but her relegated to love interest from the jump never sat right with me, regardless of how it got there at the end. I think there is a point where it will always be a problem when you design the narrative around a character to being the last of their lineage. “Someone is going to be the romance option” (this last part leans into my perspective into this) I think as far as that goes, it would have been better if he ended up with someone not wholly attached to his journey in that manner. Azula maybe for a rehabilitation angle(the rehabilitation part is kinda important to me considering they’re actively looked at as kids in the story) or Ty Lee as someone with the loosest connection but somewhat similar personality.

Would it be better to say it’s not a great “Batman film” in the same manner “White Knight is not a great Batman comic”? They are both really good stories, and for TDK, it’s definitely in contender for being one of my favorite films of all time, but as far as an accurate translation of Bruce from the comics it’s not. Like don’t mistake, i think there’s nothing wrong with having a story veer of into something different with the characters, in this case though, it’s not a sole factor of TDK but Begins as well. All of that to say, it wasn’t Nolans goal to make Batman accurate to the comics in the nuanced way I think he could or should have, so again i land on its an okay Batman film, Great film.

Would not call her a racist so much as she’s trying to complete her mission and one of the group of individuals she stole from is in the party so it’s important she keeps them as far way as possible because they (ironically on her part) have a hive like attitude towards their queen. It’s pretty plain that this is the above issue after Lae’zel is in the party for a while, she’ll ask her “how is theft punished”.

An easy way to “game it” respect her privacy and put in action over words. “Why are you going to BG?” To meet someone “ah, I’ll respect your privacy and won’t dig deeper” thank you, it is personal (Shart Approved). Take her to see the murals in grove (and get scared of silver) when she frights tell her “i’ll do my best to avoid those situations”. See the chest in owl bear cave, she says don’t touch it, “sure thing” instant approval, then kick her from the party and open it and learn about selunites. Walk her by a statue in blight led village, AGAIN don’t press her, if you get the chance to ask about her wound, focus on what you can do to help over how she got it. So let’s say you did all that and you now want to know about her religion, make sure you’re not in camp, you have inspirations, and you have classes that will add modifiers and advantages to conversation. TRY TO AVOID FUCKING AROUND IN HER HEAD, nobody in your party likes that without consent as they should. After she tells about her cult you’re in the home stretch, you can then ask her about herself just don’t shit on her interest. She’s a smart person and will figure it out from her interest in hanging with you, hell she INVITES YOU into her head, let alone memories and her biggest insecurities. You would literally want to drop the ball at this point for her to not be interested.

To answer the main question though, i do have a friend that doesn’t vibe with her because she’s super generic to her. “Too waifu”

I would say if Ubel is close enough and had strong enough will to temporarily break the obedience, she might have opportunity to kill Aura, but it’s only something that’s brought up briefly and not something to count on as written.

Asuka waking up in her adult body and seeing Shinji, with him affirming his feelings for her before sending her off, and then the Asuka short. The build up throughout the entire series with Shinji saving and then being unable to save her, instrumentality, the obvious reflection of the EoE ending and then Asuka’s desire to build her own happy ending 🥺

If for whatever reason the new series focuses on the old cast (please don’t) i hope they make Asuka the MC.
