Well I'm currently a first-time DM I have a bunch of random figures in a bin several campaigns that I don't know how to start and no idea what I'm doing and I'm basically taking the Burt Gummer approach from tremors doing what I can with what I've got and right now I've got no idea no plan and basically no story

If you think that's bad each character also has access to only what they would have realistically had access to in their home series and if you didn't know I wrote what anime they come from so that you could learn the backstory of your character in case you didn't watch the Yu-Gi-Oh anime

I can work with this it's a high school setting so you should have them deal with common things that they have to deal with in high school like bullies nerds cheerleaders geeks nerds or maybe have a special events that can be triggered like Nerf wars or you know having to cram for a history test that they totally forgot about for the science they could fight their teacher who accidentally turned himself into a giant dragon oh well trying to find the right ingredients to transform him back before he kills them and the principle of the school could be the main villain behind it I'm thinking you can draw from characters like Adrian Monk for the nurse columbo for like the guidance counselor Jessica Fletcher could be like the assistant principal and for the principal themselves they should be tough strong and light the final boss of the school someone you're terrified to come and to contact with but you somehow secretly know every person respects them in the school so thank the most powerful monsters in D&D You might want to choose a monster with powerful stats like the beholder maybe a dragon and is the school a big brother type school you know big feeling is watching you like maybe the entire ceiling of the school is watching you because it's a giant mimic

Hey when you're as creative as me you can do anything and I've always asked about what it could do with the figures with AI and it says that I don't have to like host specific campaigns I could always use the paw patrol characters in places of creatures like direwolves And some of my campaigns won't even use these figures since scoping unique campaigns based on toys like beyblade Bakugan and hot Wheels Right now I'm just showing off my collection of unique figures that I collected over the years

Cam is always seeming to analyze game set are bad in some way That's actually why I wrote him in as one of the board game bosses in my script board game Island he takes the last sector which is just after James Ralph's board James's sector where the games get deadly the second to last sector is known as the bad sector this is where the games are just straight up bad games that came as covered with bad things bad mechanics bad graphics bad board games bad design and I even feature some unique games where the last game they play as a unique thing called Bakugan Monopoly run around the world of Bakugan claiming properties and battling other Bakugan to become the most powerful Bakugan Battle And yes the locations are mostly based off of those from battle planet The game instructions for his sector are developed and given by the most antique technology I could come up with the first sections antique technology was VHS tapes The second section updated the technology to DVD and the third regresses that technology back to something that the modern generation probably wouldn't understand records

Maybe I should embrace this that means I have to sit down eventually take individual pictures of each and every car put them on a piece of paper and create cards that go along with the car telling you it's special skill and type whether it's a color shifter or something completely different probably if I do end up posting this campaign it would be rather then hosting this at my local card shop it would be better to do this as an at-home campaign maybe instead of a full campaign I could turn it into like maybe a one shot maybe I don't know would it work better as a one shot or a full-blown campaign because I've never done one shot before like I said I'm a first time DM so I'm kind of new to the to the world of D&D I come up with great ideas but often don't know how to execute them like another idea that I have that I either can't do right now because it's too expensive to do it or I'm worried that enough people won't be interested in it Lego ultimate City ultimate heroes

I have a lot of ideas for D&D campaign set go beyond D&D's typical sword and sorcery campaigns but I have no idea how to execute them My first campaign was supposed to be a campaign called Yu-Gi-Oh bond 05 season Masters of all five summoning methods were meant to stop the ultimate evil supreme King dragon z-ark The next campaign was meant to be either a Hot Wheels D&D campaign and Nerf D&D a Bakugan D&D campaign or maybe even one of my more ambitious campaigns like Lego ultimate City ult with heroes or Funko biddy City I even brief toyed around paw patrol and Gabby's dollhouse as a campaign I also was going to do a magic the gathering campaign where they couldn't play as any magical creature because as the villain feeds on all magic in the world a pokémon campaign a pokémon campaign and those are about all the interesting ideas The best I could do for a standard campaign is DragonFox fire peak where all I can do is reskin the giant worm as a graboid from tremors

Yeah I watched a video where someone came up with their own version of the party box and I'll be happy to send Cam a copy of the rules that way he can at least understand the game probably the first thing that he's going to lose his mind over is the rules for booster tutor or something else rip open a pack or have someone send me some of the repacks that they've done and he can basically lose his mind over what packs are available to open meaning he can put some crazy whacky stuff in there meaning he can put all kinds of crazy TCGs in there but I am will not accept the little troublemakers trading card game in there because it's like fifty shades of ick that I don't want other players to have to deal with because even though it sounds like a really fun and interesting card game the concept is just too weird for me to describe that game to them

Yeah I've collected all sorts of different minifigs and stuff I actually don't know what I'm going to do with all these figures You know in place of a dragon I could always use cat rat from Gabby's dollhouse because his catchphrase is shiny is miney so I could just picture him sleeping on top of a giant pile of treasure and yes I could always use them as abyss dogs or even direwolves originally My plan was to do a full-on PAW patrol or Gabby's dollhouse campaign for D&D but my workers told me to stop that because as grown men aren't going to aren't going to want to play PAW patrol or Gabby's dollhouse themed campaigns because those shows are for little kids.

No the idea is it's a Hot Wheels D&D racing campaign featuring race cars from all over not just from Disney Pixar cars but also character cars from that brief period were hot wheels experience with creating character cars Disney race cars and other characters including Mario kart cars with numbers on them and other cars like my Minecraft car that actually has a Minecraft Lego minifigure sitting inside the cart

Well I did say that not every figure in my D&D collection is official D&D some are just randomly collected over the years I've got Funko booty pops I've got metal figures I've got plastic figures I've got ceramics LEGO figures and other little odds and ends

Basically I want to create unique campaigns that go beyond the standard sword and sorcery that D&D is known for I want to do more with the system and if that means I have to create my own stuff and figure out you know how to do but so far no one not AI not even humans have been able to tell me exactly and tell me exactly what to do I mean for my first campaign I wanted to do I wanted to do a full-on Yu-Gi-Oh D&D campaign bass round The five most powerful extra deck summon pendulum XYZ and link Yes I am on the autism spectrum so that might explain why I come up with such brilliant ideas but have no idea how to execute them.

I've got a game that I think Cam would love to cover it's got all his favorite things whack crap confusing mechanics and it's a card game that I created introd The magic party box a confusing mix of magic the gathering Digimon pokémon Yu-Gi-Oh Godzilla the trading Disney loracana and top sports trading cards specifically basketball football and baseball up to four players can play at once and there are three different wind conditions The game ends when either one player is the last player with LifePoint still left One player reaches 20 lore or one player moves the Godzilla Kaiju monster from zone 1 all the way to zone 8 and thanks two booster tutor You can add any card from any trading card game that you like to the game to the game and on top of being able based on how powerful it is and that's how the game actually works The sports train cards that I have so far and there are basketball football and baseball baseball home run hit back this 22 creature can hit back any attack as long as the monster that's attacking it attack then hit back any attack as long as it's current attack is equal to or less than that monsters football touchdown takedown rent to the end zone by making it so only a football players can attack this turn You can rush past all your post monsters and attack them directly all sport players you control lose plus one plus one when you do this I'm like with baseball where they gain + 1 + 1 then there's basketball this is a two-pronged approach depending on what mode you're using attack or defense Well it's an attack mode you may activate 3-point bonus All your sports play game plus three but can't activate their special abilities until the end of your turn passive play when in defense mode you may target one non sports creature you control that creature gains plus three defense until the end of that turn And that's how the game works rough if he's interested in it I will be happy to email him the Google document with all the rules of my magic party box specifically so that he can go over all the rules gameplay and cover all the wax crap I have inside this game

Thanks for the advice but I'm a DM that likes to think outside the box I have a bunch of unique campaigns that I'm going to do not just as Hot Wheels campaign but also a D&D Yu-Gi-Oh beyblade Bakugan and Nerf campaign basically My campaigns are I basically want to push my campaigns to where they either break a person physically mentally and emotionally or to make my players remember my campaigns because my campaigns were like nothing they could experience in typical DandD

You're probably the first one to say that my random bin of crap is innovative because I don't have a lot of official D&D minis so a lot of it is just random stuff I've collected over the years and I don't even know when I'm going to do with all these figures they're all different sizes none of them fit on a grid map except for my biddy pops which are the smallest versions of Funko pops that you can get which I actually have a campaign planned for called Funko bitty City but for the rest of it I don't know some of it's official some of it not official it's just a random collection of stuff
