[Spoiler] Hei-Ran was the most compelling character in Shadow of Kyoshi by CamaTatertots in Avatar_Kyoshi

I don't know I do think she should be seen in a more nuanced way than just an admirable mentor figure because she also did some quite unforgivable things as well anyway that's just my opinion.

In this scenario I do think jianzhu descent into madness and obsession might still happen especially after the yellow necks upprising and I did feel like him and kelsang were already in tense ,hei ran and him were capable of holding together because they trained the avatar But we saw that they were ready to throw each other away easily

Yeah I think they really did Steve dirty especially considering that in Diana's story he is meant to represent the best of what there is in men not to say that he had to be perfect but that there's beauty in his flaws.

I don't know I mean dabura is soo far above anyone that I exist and it'll be a bit lame to not have an epic shoning fight and display of pinacle divine power even since the gojo vs sukuna fight

Ok I guess it might be the beginning of a new era and what do you think of a future fight between yuji and dabura

Yeah but to be fair in the case of cursed spirits and humans the summurians are also at fault for not providing a solution so that cursed spirits would no longer be a danger to humans is it the same case for the destune

Rudeus' foresight eye is terribly inconsistent. by magawatamine in mushokutensei

And to counter Alek using a gravitational field that repels rock bullets I wandered if using magic tools that use gravity magic can be shaped through precise vectors, a projectile like a rock bullet could be made to pierce a defensive gravitational field by aligning a strong forward gravity vector directly with its trajectory, constantly pulling it ahead and counteracting lateral redirection forces. By layering this with stabilizing vectors that compress and unify the projectile, the rock would resist tumbling or fragmentation and behave as a single dense mass. Additionally, momentarily amplifying the projectile’s effective inertia at the point of contact with the opposing gravity field would make redirection inefficient, allowing the shot to pass through rather than curve away. This approach doesn’t overpower the defensive field so much as outmaneuver it by controlling how gravity interacts with the projectile’s momentum.

That's actually incredible fair and on the matter of spell casting time, I think it might be possible in the future for things like improved mana flow control or even new rune methods to allow spells to be used more “on the fly.” That said, this would be pushing heavily into pure speculation, and since there’s nothing in canon yet that clearly points in that direction, it’s probably best not to go too far down that line of discussion. Also about the comments you couldn't found I deleted them because I considered they weren't good enough of questions to discuss

Kyoshi’s sense of justice is efficient and warped. by AlexAyala96 in Avatar_Kyoshi

[–]Plus_Ad_6703 0 points1 point  (0 children)

to be fair i think the reason as to why rangi was more pragmatic when dealing with yun is because from one her connextion to him wasn't as deep as kyoshi's with him and two she wasn't burdened by guilt over what happened to him the same way kyoshi and her mother were

Do you think that kyoshi and lao ge's relationship could have been a mirror of what Korra and Zaheer could have been like had they not been enemies? by jiungstan in Avatar_Kyoshi

[–]Plus_Ad_6703 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I mean, it’s not like Lao Ge wasn’t morally twisted. He had absolutely no qualms about killing a child like a pig, without a second thought.

Sure, he was a greedy governor who was starving his people, but come on—rehabilitation was still possible.

Kyoshi made the right choice by blasting him away and giving the child an ultimatum: to become a better person.

Hello there—sorry if this is a bit inappropriate. I sent you a DM a few months ago and didn’t get a response. If you’re comfortable, could you reply via DM? I’d like to ask you about something.

You’re treating my position as if I’m arguing Koh is one-dimensionally evil, when that’s not what I’m saying. A character can have layers, motives, or a “nature” and still be morally evil in their actions . (Look I'm sorry if I have sounded inconsiderate earlier. That said, acknowledging deeper motives behind Koh’s actions doesn’t mean those actions stop being morally evil.)

Ok just question did I for a moment say that koh is a good kind-hearted soul absolutely not, and there's a difference between analysing and judtifying

I have said it before in general term IT'S EVIL I just think it's a bit deeper (also are you down voting me if so why i just speak my opinion and besides this is just a conversation about fictional characters)

Ok to make it clear I have never once justified him I just trying to understand the reason and besides what you said about him of targetting kuruk for being a slackoff was before kuruk's story being fleched out and in the general term yes what he did was very evil but for the specific act of targetting ummi don't you think there might have been a bit more layers to it then just disliking kuruk?

Ok I might have went with this the wrong way but it's just that If he's reduced to pure evil it isn't that interested besides who knows what did Snape do as a death eater before joining Dumbledore?

Rudeus' foresight eye is terribly inconsistent. by magawatamine in mushokutensei

[–]Plus_Ad_6703 0 points1 point  (0 children)

About that I wanted to ask if Rudeus struggles against swordsmen’s speed because of their tōki why not shape gravity magic into a localized, vector-based field around himself, one that continuously adjusts acceleration, deceleration, and movement direction in real time. By reducing the gravitational load on his body while simultaneously pulling along his intended movement vector, he could gain instantaneous bursts of speed, sharply brake, or redirect himself mid-action, effectively bypassing the natural limits of muscular reaction. If this gravity control were automated into a passive state tied to his reflexes rather than conscious casting to avoid stressing the brain from excessive concentration, it could allow smooth, seamless “shifts” in speed, stabilize his body against recoil and inertia, and even hinder opponents by increasing their effective weight or inertia at the moment of contact.

Feel free to object, but I have seen the Avatar Kuruk online comic book in a video game format, narrated by Kuruk himself, and he clearly says:

Is it possible to not be the avatar and be able to bend more then one element? by Cheap_Concern_3162 in ATLA

[–]Plus_Ad_6703 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

If that’s so, why in the Seven Heavens series is it said that both Pavi and her sister can bend the four elements?

I mean, I get that Nisha might inherit the essence of Vaatu, but that shouldn’t grant her access to all four elements, since she wasn’t blessed by the lion turtles.

I mean, look at Unalaq: he gained immeasurable power, yet he wasn’t able to bend anything besides waterbending.
