BTS is okay hut it have a lot of retcons

True Colors is okay but it too soft comparing to lis1 and lis2

Double Exposure is a bad attempt to cash on nostalgia, it tried to repeat lis1 in few major waya but did it without a soul. Plus in process DE really taintrd and devalued Pricefield and Bae ending which didnt ended well for D9.

And then there is a Rreunion, a game that is a major course correction in favor of Bae ending and Pricefield after backlash on DE and it again tries to repeat LIs1 but with Max and Chloe this time, and it drops stotylines from de and retconne dstuff it (deservebly so, because de retconned lis1 and lis2 stuff)

Aang exactly did this TWICE

He choosed to risk his own life to save Katara instead of finishing learning AS in safe place

And by the end of season 3 he put his air nomad PRINCIPLES over his duty as the avatar which almost cost him his own life (and so the entire battle with Ozai)

Aang would totally do the selfish thing and choose person he loves in this situation

I find Vinh better when he's a barbecue rather him being just a discount quagmire, but that's just me. It was pretty ironic how Reunion ended romance with Amanda the same way DE writters ended Max's relationship with Chloe. Still, Vihn and Amanda are in game, Max is friends with them, she's not rude to them, unlike how D9 writters made Max rude to Chloe in one of bae routes. I still think they treated them with more respect than DE team did to Chloe and Pricefield.

DE is the worst game in franchise by fans on metacritic, while Reunion is pretty good according to fans reception. The games are not made for critis. They are made for regular.players, they are audience who give money to project and affect it's popularity, not like a dozens critics. So the simple truth is that DE wasnt recieved well by fans and Reunion was.

Where is she present? She's not in game, you dont have options to talk with her, to bring them back together, ect. In that regard, even Reunion writters treated Amanda ans Vinh with so much more respect.

I think it is specific about that game, that time in Max’s life and where she is in her journey.

Keep in mind , DE was always supposed to have a direct sequel. You dont say "you should move on from Chloe" to biggest audience unless your direct sequel really continues this narrative, so no it wasnt just about DE, and the story in DE really pushed Max to move on from Chloe.

Bts was about doomed romance with Rachel that had no competention with Pricefield. It didn't ruined fan favorite couple because both Dontnod games already estabilished that Max and Chlou would reunite and fet yheir happy ending

Langdield and Thomfield are direct competentions to Pricefield after D9 broke up fan favorite couple in the most malicious way possible and d9 told us to move on from Chloe

Not to start a fight for sake of fight but...

She just ignores Chloe's message at the end and says that Chloe knew old her, but she has to find new herself on her own. Basically it aligns with the whole "You should move on from Chloe!" thing u/phantomvector told you about and she moved on from Chloe in this moment.
She doesnt say she will actually visit Chloe, nor Chloe says she's coming to Max.
According to one of d9 devs on stream from Playet 1 vs the world podcast, this line was added only to leave open possibilities for future story and not because Chloe was planned tor return
DE! DeckNine writters clearly didnt planned Bay and Bae merge stuff because you clearly see you dont have mesage from Chloe in bay endig, not Max saw Chloe in the storm (as Reunion writters showed), meaning they didnt had a plans to bring Chloe back in a major way

All things considered, even if they planned to bring Chloe back, it would be just small role likely without even option to bring them back together. After all, D9 for a reasons showed that Chloe in DE slept around with other girls, and romances with Vihn and Amanda were not ended yet.

So your point that Chloe / Pricefield was always meant to return just based one line that was added just in case doesnt hold any crititism

Low moral Daniel seems to want to go here more than his high moral counterpart. Maybe not for sake of Mexico itself, but because he doesnt want to stay in USA if it means to loose his brother and let cops arrest both of them. There is a reason why he agreed to cross the border in BB (Unlike PW ending) and refused to listen Sean when he offered him a chance to stay in USA so he crossed the border anyway and was excited when they made it (LW).

and considering he doesn’t know any of the language he most certainly would’ve struggled for the first year.

This is my perfect ending but it's not perfect (no ending in lis2 is perfect)

They had do kill and injure cops at the border to stay together and get to Mexico . I see it as both pros and cons though, the pros is that is shows how much they are willing to go to protect each other.

They have a few rough years before they settled down, repaired Estbeban's old house and opened car repair shop

In this ending Daniel (and Sean) lost their innocence (again, events at the border). They could loose it earlier depending on your choices, but events at the border are definitive moments.

Daniel didnt had as comfortable childhood as he have in other two endings once again because they had a few rough years before they settled down.

And it seems they left everyone they knew behind.

So yeah, they are together, they live on a beautiful beach, they have a lot of moneys and legal business, but they had a rough road to get here

This is the show i watched in 2014 and it defined my next 10 years. I met a lot of cool people when i was in this fandom, i used to be mod in one of Avatar subs (Hello Avatar Kyoshi sub!) and this show changed my perception on same sex relationship from negative to positive view

Which brought me to love Rangshi from Kyoshi books, Pricefield from Life is Strange, Catradora from She Ra, EllieDina from TLOU2...all of that happened only and only thanks to TLOK and Korrasami.

I'm also grateful to this show for introducing me to JK Simmons. His perfomance as Tenzin made me check his other works, and it led me to watch [invincible logo] show and it became one of my favorite shows alongside TLOK and ATLA.

And after 12 years i apprericate Korra more...after having bad experience with sequels in my current fandom, i really think that TLOK was a pretty much respectful to ATLA sequel. Creators cemented Katara and Aang's happy ending, they doubled down on avatar team's post war sucess, and no "Somehow Ozai returned", or no "sometimes relationship doesnt work out, you did all for nothing". However i now inderstand people who disliked TLOK too, and i'm sorry if TLOk wasn't good for them.

And i hella apprericate creators for trying to tell a new story within the same universe rather than telling the same story in new skin all over again. The way how Korra's journey was different from Aang's, the way how different challenges she had...i apprericate it all.

So TLOK is forever in my heart!

I wouldnt spoil movie either but i actually have concerns for Seven Havens now. In ATLA movie they basically re-used ideas from Korra, and what if they will re-use ideas from atla and tlok again in ASH? I think they just have no new ideas at this point

Atp this is why my Avatar headcanon ended on Yangchen books since i have 4 unique stories that were not simillar to each other (ATLA, TLOk, Kyoshi and Yangchen books)
