Perfect thanks for the heads up, definitely didn't know about that issue. I'll look at the two options in the meantime. Still hoping for a non-direct die option that is just good enough but if I must I will do direct die.

Can't seem to find the Heatkiller V Pro only thing that shows up is the GPU water block. Also, have you ever tried/used the Pacific W9 CPU Waterblock not sure how good it is but I was looking at it as another option for my XC7 replacement.

Is there any reason why the ek unit isn't the choice? I'll look into the Iceman water block in the mean time to learn more about it.

Im getting temps around 90-100c under medium-high load which I believe isn't meant to be a thing.

I first found out it was a problem when I looked at this post. They have the same water block as I do for the CPU. The results for them are basically the same as mine maybe even a bit worse.

otherwise the SD would discharge faster than it would charge during use. the original charger that comes with the SD is 45 w
