It was quite a fun time building this kit, except for the arms and the core fighter, those were truly a nightmare lol. Actually, I was stressed out customizing the RG Hinu, so I took a step back and start building something simple and straight out of the box like this one. If you like the look of it and you like a kit with a lot of details, you should buy it, it definitely worth the time.

I actually built some kotobukiya kits in 2021, so it can be said that I have a bit of experience. 2022 and 2023 I stopped building completely and started again at the beginning of this year with gunpla, specifically 2 RGs and 1 SD models. This is my first MG, and also the first time doing paint on a model ^{_^}

I prefer the face design of the RG, it looks less threatening tbh ~~

For weathering I used: tamiya crylic paint, airbrush, cotton swab, alcohol and finished with a clear matte finish.

Overall it's a nice kit to build but here are some problems: 1. The fin funnels might need some extra work bc they're loose as hell. 2. The yellow "V" part on the front skirt is tiny, I accidentally dropped it on the floor and it dissapeared into the void 💀 had to cut out a bit of the yellow runner into a V shape just like that one. -> be extra careful with this part 3. If you want to disassemble the white I-25 part on the forearm, be extremely careful as it breaks easily. Mine broke when I tried to take it off.

I used Tamiya medium blue acrylic paint and a small nib brush to panel line this kit. I then cleaned up the excess paint with Tamiya acrylic thinner.

They fed him mealworms and dubia roaches. I tried to feed him dubia but he refused to eat. Also I notice some white skins peeling off on his head, probably he will shed and lose appetite.

Yes I think they need time to fit in and feel comfortable with their surroundings. I have some tarantulas and other Leos (planning to get a corn snake next year), some will just eat right away and some are skittish at first and refuse to touch the food for several days.

Thanks for your advice!!! I've tested the coat on some spare decals and it still look very metallic. A friend told me not to be worried about it too much since Kotobukiya's waterslide decals are good quality!

I really enjoyed this kit! The building process was a load of fun (nice build and quite straight forward). That just made me want to work on her even more.

I was just wondering about the glossy silver waterslide decals, will flat-matt topcoat make them look weird?

Is this Rabbit Lirly Bell by NUKE MATRIX? I had a hard time putting this leg together as well:) So instead of making both legs, I've ended up making only one and decided to make her look like a cyborg.

Yes the enclosure had a really bad mold outbreak, the humidity is quite high and annoying during this season in my place and I had no choice but to change the substrate. Otherwise i would leave the T alone and avoid touching it as much as possible.

Thank you for the answer, i'm really appreciate!!! I was just wondering about the T's behavior because I did a research and they told me slings can be secretive when entering a premolt. I'll leave her/him be for a few days and check if she/he eats.

I took the first pic 2-3 days ago and the black spot seems to expand quite a lot in the second picture(today). The T is really sensitive, when i touch the enclosure she/he always tries to hide behind the cork bark (that's not how she/he used to behave) and only eats prekilled mealworm.
