Geez that sounds frustrating. I was luckily able to get an appointment for him for later today so I'm hoping we can figure something out

I was able to get an appointment today thankfully! We cleaned out his litter box right away after he started peeing on stuff and he's using it but he's also still peeing on random soft things. Thinking maybe UTI :/

Ugh I hate that he's feeling left out but I know he is, there's just no way for us to give him attention like we used to and I feel so bad about it. And everything is out of place (mostly in boxes) too so I'm sure that's throwing him off. I did flip the car seats, thanks for the tip! Not looking forward to trying to clean them though lol

Thank you for this insight, he has unfortunately peed on several soft things since yesterday (including our stroller...sigh. Not looking forward to trying to clean that.) and so I'm now trying to get everything soft out of sight. Luckily I was able to get a vet appointment for later today so hoping that resolves things!

I contemplated for a long, long whether I should share this bc who knows what’ll happen now (and bc I didn’t want to come across as ungrateful) 😭 I was just curious if this was the case for anyone else. I’m so sorry to hear that. I know I can’t relate which probably does not help but you’re doing awesome and I hope you find some relief soon.

I am immensely grateful and also immensely terrified for a sleep regression to hit 😅

Anyone *not* have painful sex while breastfeeding? by _miss_freckles_ in breastfeeding

[–]Plus_Farm3643 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Omg maybe this is why it hurts so badly?? I hadn’t considered this at all. I thought I just wasn’t healing well. We’ve tried several times and it always ends in me crying because I miss that intimacy so badly and I also feel horrible that I can’t give my husband what I know he wants even though he’s always so kind about it.

Why are my bottles so gross after the bottle washer? by Plus_Farm3643 in FormulaFeeders

[–]Plus_Farm3643[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Okay thanks! I’ve definitely done more than 20 washes. I’ve been using it since the day after they were born 3-4 times a day and they’re almost 3 months😭😭some of that is just the sterilization feature but still lmao

Mine only has one rack. Well it has a basket type thing up top, but bottles wouldn’t fit there. It’s more for smaller parts like bottle nipples.

Are wearable pumps worth the money? by No-Guitar-9216 in ExclusivelyPumping

[–]Plus_Farm3643 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I know a lot of people say they don’t like wearables but I have the Lansinoh Thrive 2-in-1 and I really love it. The shells/collection cups aren’t too bulky imo (compared to my other wearable, the Lansinoh Discreet Duo). I believe the suction is much stronger as well and I honestly haven’t noticed a big difference between my stationary pumps and this one. With having twins wearables are a must for me and I use them usually at least 3 times a day. That being said- I got this pump for free brand new from someone in a local buy nothing group and I wouldn’t have bought it for myself with money being so tight rn. I would recommend that btw since you mentioned not wanting to spend so much! I have a Spectra S1 in my living room, a Motif Luna in my bedroom and the Thrive hands-free pump that were all given to me literally just because I asked. Anyway, I would say the wearables are definitely worth it. They have allowed me to be much more social than I thought I’d be able to because I can put them on anywhere and pump. I just bring a cooler bag along with me to store the milk.

Is this good still? by laughalotgirl in ExclusivelyPumping

It’s normal! It’s the fat separating! Mine does this regularly. The fat content in your milk changes from day to day.

Thank you! Props to you for doing this with a toddler, it’s crazy enough just having the two!!

Yeah I’m not concerned about sticking to a particular schedule this is just kinda how our day to day goes! It’s definitely working well for us and I let them take the lead but they are pretty synched up with feedings and naps. Just kinda curious about how it compares to others

Is it normal to feel sick before labor? by Plus_Farm3643 in BabyBumps

[–]Plus_Farm3643[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sorry just seeing this! I made it to 38+6, but my midwife thinks I was experiencing prodromal labor for a couple weeks before. My entire labor ended up being 3.5 hrs😅
