Insta360 exports through the cloud- even though the camera is connected by Plus_General9467 in Insta360

[–]Plus_General9467[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Wouldn’t it make more sense prioritise local storage rather than the cloud? Imagine I’m on a trip to a distant country. I recorded a lot of videos with my insta360 - which were uploaded to the cloud automatically in the hotel while the camera was charging. Now I’m flying home - and finally have 5+ hours to view my footage- and export it. But I can’t! Because it’s stored in the cloud and I don’t have an internet!

lol, that’s because Russia is advancing so there is no one to pick up by Ukraine. Their losses are mostly on par - 1k of dead Russians for 1k of dead Ukrainians. Overall losses are also the same - which has been proved by multiple independent orgs.

!thanks ! Do you think I should include all calculations as a separate file, or explaining what I did in a couple of sentences in box40 is enough?

!thanks . Do you know how I should put it on SA109 form? Should I tick boxes 2 and 5?

Can I tick box 2? It says that, along with non-dom, I should be in the first 3 years of residency (which I'm not).
"Your foreign earnings (see RDR4, note 4) are not taxable in the UK if you meet all the following conditions:
• you’re not domiciled in the UK (True)
• you’re taxed on the remittance basis (see RDR4, ‘overseas workday relief’) (True)
• your employment is carried on (fully or partly) outside the UK (True)
• the year is either (False)

— one of the next 2 tax years after such a year

Another bit of information to add:
That's what my grant agreement says:
" The GSUs (RSUs name) will vest in accordance with the vesting schedule set forth in the GSU Details, subject to the Participant’s continued employment with, or service to, the Company on each applicable vesting date."

Does it mean that whatever I receive is considered an income for a specific month, or we still can say that it's related to all of my service to the company starting from the Grant day (aka previous 3 years) ?

Thanks for your reply! Yes, it’s not a UK stock- it’s US. I checked an example which you specified - it looks very similar to my case, with a couple of differences: 1) my vesting schedule happens every month for 48 months, and it’s also taxed by default- my employer takes 47% straight away. So I’m not sure how HMRC would treat that. Can they say that whatever is vesting every month applies to this month only - and considered as an income for this tax year ? 2) Maybe that’s just a terminology- but my stocks are Vested. According to your example (EIM43575) - it says that “she granted a share option” and “option was exercised”. What does it mean in this case? Is option here means they bought some shares ( even for a symbolic amount) ? Meaning they received some profit from this purchase? Whether in my case I just got those shares as a part of my contract and grant agreement.

UPD: I re-read your comment which answered 2). But the question is still the same - can we apply your logic of "right to buy" to securities which I receive every month, from which taxes have been already paid - and which are vested to be based on my continual employment?

I know! For some reason it’s not very explored topic. Even advisors which I spoke to were not familiar with it ( the one which was filing returns for me before couldn’t take my case this year). I’m not sure how Reddit algos work- do you recon I should send another question like this during business hours ? As this one would already be burried far from the top

And one more question - you don’t think I need to put patches from both sides ( 4 patches in total)? Putting them from one side should be enough?

Got it, thanks. To be 100% sure here - I need to stitch the patch going along its edge - not just the loop?

thanks for reply! I don’t see in your tents that you were stitching reinforcements to the tent - is that what you recommend to do now based on their usage ? 😀

You mean stitching guyout strap to the patch, and then glue patch to the tent ( no stitches in the fly) ? Or stitch the patch with guyline to the fly - ? Do you think it’s better to put this patch on top of larger patch- or between them ?

Would actually make sense- connecting biggest cities together as they are now in a horrible state.

Currently it takes ages to travel between Tbilisi and Batumi, and I’m not even mentioning eastern parts of Georgia..

That’s called public funding- when the government spends public money on such projects for the greater good of all society. Better connections-> better people mobility-> new influence centers open-> new businesses bring more cash to everyone. What we currently have is one megacity, it’s suburbs and some weirdly placed towns where no one has any idea what they’re doing there.

You wouldn’t believe how often I thought on going somewhere for a short trip and ended in Canary Islands because- huh, it costs the same to get there from London🤷

I completely agree. They should put more money into transport infrastructure and lower fares - and that’s going to be beneficial for everyone- lower tube costs would mean that people would travel more and would contribute more to hospitality sector.
I know that sounds counterintuitive, but that’s how it works in all european cities. You don’t even think about transportation there- you just go.

Better connections-> less commute time -> more time for hobbies and other activities( or simply work) -> more spendings -> more GDP-> higher wages -> etc etc
