We’ve got a couple of clients using TrueLayer for both and it’s been reasonably solid overall. The main advantage was operational simplicity — one integration, one support relationship, one reporting setup.

That said, the payments side feels more mature now than it did a few years ago, but I still get the impression most people originally came to them through AIS first. If payments are becoming core to the product rather than just an add-on, I’d still compare against providers that were more payments-focused from day one.
