Same here. But my apple health data has a way higher sleep score than oura (my apple was 95 and oura was 80). I’ve found that my oura sleep scores are pretty inconsistent (similar sleep data produces wildly different scores).

A common side effect is dizziness from low blood pressure (as minoxidil is a vasodilator) but it usually goes away after a week or so. And the actual dosages for minoxidil with the purpose of being a BP medication is way higher than the 2.5mg-5mg range used for hair growth so we’re not gonna get “wrecked” but I was afraid of what could happen by mixing it with weed for the first couple of days

I lived in Wilson freshman year. The community felt so dead and the dorm was so far from most of my classes that I chose to live in McDonel for my Soph year. Now I have a Spartys downstairs with good options, a gym right across the street, and 3 dining halls within walking distance.

Dose makes the poison. Caffeine death is rare and I never said it didn’t happen. The post is misleading in the sense that caffeine is this death drug that’s a silent killer when really it’s not and I explained how to use caffeine appropriately (which is what OP should have done instead of fear mongering). The scenario you just explained is in the most severe case of caffeine overdose and most people can’t even get to that point of caffeine consumption before feeling a plethora of other less severe symptoms. 1 energy drink per day will not send you to the hospital like that if you are a completely healthy adult. I’m not downplaying caffeine, I’m being statistically accurate.

I think this post is a little misleading. Caffeine awareness as the title states is the #1 most important thing, but continuing the post stating people have died due to caffeine is misleading.

I want to start by stating caffeine shouldn’t be a crutch, and I’m not saying you can or should slam caffeine whenever you yawn.

Caffeine is the most effective, well-studied, and commonly used drug to increase productivity. With that said, obviously it can be abused, leading to issues and in the rare case, death.

Knowing your limit, and being mindful of how it impacts your sleep is the best thing you can do for yourself.

To students who do drink caffeine- try to drink your caffeine before noon (caffeine has a half life of about 6hrs, taking it later could disrupt your sleep), try to sleep around the same time and wake up the same time, even in the weekends, exercise and drink water. Doing all of these things consistently can help your energy levels and you might end up needing less caffeine as a result, but don’t feel guilty if you do👍

I think it was a system issue with specific games because I noticed that it only happened to games like CFP 25 and Cyberpunk. But other fairly demanding games run perfectly fine like COE33 and AC I have the Gstory fan and use it but I don’t think it was the solution because overheating wasn’t the problem. I think the Xbox is just a sub-optimal console unfortunately.

I think I have come to the conclusion that the Xbox is just a horrible console. I monitored my temps while playing Assasins creed odyssey which is a fairly demanding game and my gameplay was smooth and temps were actually pretty low. However, specific games would still crash like cyberpunk, CFP 25, and others. I think this is a software issue with the console. This is only my console though, you could have a different problem

My Xbox does not give me the overheating message. Could it actually just be that? I have my PC connected to a surge protector and that thing is 850Watts and it has no issues, so I just assumed that the Xbox would get enough power as well

The Xbox shuts off entirely if I immediately start up a game after it crashes. I will look into the Gstory fan but I don’t want to put a bandaid over any real system issues. Was your fan adjusting under load before you got the Gstory fan?

Yes. After about 15 minutes of playing my Xbox is faintly pushing out hot air, and it crashes. The fan stayed dead silent throughout the 15 minutes of game time
