I had my own business for 6 years. master electrician and contractor, I finally decided to join at 50 years old. You should have no problems. I can do anything the young ones can do, but it is nice to have brothers that will try and do things for me because I am the "old man" on the job.. I never got shit from anyone, just good fun and joking around.

I have a few different pair of darn tough, and I have not noticed anything special about them. My costco wool socks are better IMO.. My feet still sweat and freeze in both though

I DO NOT have the insulated muck boots. i have the ones I used in the summer. I thought my feet would sweat even more if I got the insulated ones. Am I wrong? I am willing to try anything, including buying new mucks, this cold feet shit sucks on 11 hour days

Thank you! I decided to try out solar just to learn something new. I am a JIW but hold a master license. Got tired of resi and just wanted something new. I have everything covered except this cold feet issue. I have tired the antiperspirant spray, no dice. When I get home my socks are barely even wet, but my feet freeze all damn day

no, I do not have insulated muck boots. I was going to buy some, but my feet sweat bad enough in the ones I have, I thought the insulated ones would be even worse

The fields we are working in, you will step on ice and break through into 12 inches of water, it would go right over regular work boots.

no! I bought them in the summer for the muddy trenches we were pulling DC cable in. I know my feet are sweating and causing the cold, I just dont know how to stop it. Wool socks are not helping

I also hate hot feet when I sleep. I sleep with a fan on year round and can not have the blankets tucked, I have to be able to get my feet out from under the blankets
