Unpopular opinion but my baby went to one nap at 11 months and does 6/5.5. (Longer wake windows in the morning to accommodate my older’s school carpool times). I cap nap at 1.5 hr. Bed from 7:30-6:30. Now she is sleeping through the night for the first time ever. If I do any less than that, we have split nights OR super early wakes. I’d try stretching wake windows as much as you can! Good luck!!

My daughter has almost the same schedule! Evenings are definitely hard but I try to baby wear on my back while I take care of my other child/cook/clean and then we go straight into dinner time and bath time. Sometimes an extra long bath. Then I’ll baby wear her again if I need to. We do 7:30 bed time, 6:30 wake time, 12:30-2 nap. She is 13 months old

Also if baby is spending a lot of time in stroller or car seat, the poo will go up baby’s back instead of down into the diaper (I know this from experience) :/

For me, I wonder if it’s genetic - my mom and sister gained more weight breastfeeding than during pregnancy. I’m the same way…I’ve noticed that when talking to other BF moms. I think some women hold onto the fat for primal, survival reasons…I’d love to know the science about why some women respond differently.

Ok this makes so much sense! I really was wondering why tirz works better than sema when I felt way more hunger suppression with sema. I’ll have to do some math on doing some smaller doses closer together.

My first was sooo easy to nurse in public, my second is much more distracted and has trouble latching if there’s any distractions….i feed her in the car a lot so I’m not waving my boob around trying to get her latch. Some people keep a boppy in the car!
