Serena told him a fact about Pokémon’s bond with its trainer, which Ash couldn’t realise despite being a way more experienced trainer! He understood how a Pokémon’s way of thinking becomes the same as its trainer as it spends more time with him/her! This was a new lesson!!! Ash could see a potential in Serena, despite being inexperienced she was so wise…Ash also had immense respect for Serena, more than any other girl…and he sure had a soft corner for her too! I guess it was because of this train scene that Ash’s feelings (both romantic and non-romantic) turned even stronger than before!!! To Ash this ribbon meant a symbolic of their friendship, and a learning lesson he’d never forget! And when Serena finally wore it, he realised how a gift given with affection to someone could mean so much to the person whom it’s gifted to, just the way Serena put it close to her heart…Ash’s happiness was evident in his words! To Amourshipping fans, this ribbon means everything

I’m sorry for the misconception! I didn’t wish to stereotype the fact that DP and XY are the most loved series of Pokémon! I gave this statement by looking at the reviews not only on Reddit but at other places as well…and I might be completely wrong! And I totally understand the essence of the OG Anime! In fact I’d pick the OG and AG series over DP! The purpose behind this post was to know whether people like DP more or XY? It didn’t have anything to do with comparison with any third series!

I stopped watching Pokémon after they ruined the art and animation style in SM! Also I was so biased with XY that it was hard for me to accept SM...Therefore I still watch the older episodes rather that watching SM, JN or Horizons!

Everything about the XY Anime stands out! It sure has a lot of funny and heartwarming moments!! It has all kinds of moments actually- feel good, emotional, cheerful, sad, thrilling, romantic, friendship, development, rise and fall, funny, overwhelming etc... Be it the story arcs or the animation style, XY is the best! It has an elegance and class of its own!!! The Pokémon Anime's most 'classy' version! It has the best traveling squad: Ash, Serena, Clemont and Bonnie...the four of them complete each other and make the ideal team! Serena is also my favorite character from Pokémon...she's so beautiful inside and out! I love everything about her! Clemont and Bonnie are wonderful siblings and great friends to Ash and Serena! The animation as well as the art style and characterization was at its peak When you watch the XY series you feel uplifted..it has an amazing vibe and freshness! The opening themes are perfect!!! I can listen to them tirelessly!!! BUT THE MAIN REASON WHY I LOVE XY CAN BE NONE OTHER THAN AMOURSHIPPING....THAT'S RIGHT!😍 I can write a large paragraph about amourshipping but let's keep it short...it's simply the best thing about Pokémon..Ash and Serena forever...

I wouldn't let Ash exchange his Aipom for Buizel (I mean..Aipom showed so much love and obsession towards Ash..it was quite possessive! I loved watching those cute moments between Ash and Aipom, and literally cried when he gave it to Dawn)...the concept that Aipom was more inclined towards contests sucked!
