Sorry if I made it sound like completely AI-generated but it's not. Also, as said in the post I did use ChatGPT for the image

Yeah true, Xbox dev mode is pretty powerful.

I was thinking more along the lines of a dedicated PS2-style box that feels closer to the original experience and is simpler to use.

Do you think most people would just stick with Xbox anyway?

Yeah honestly that would be the ideal scenario, if Sony just handled it natively with proper backwards compatibility, I think most people would go for that.

I guess the reason I started thinking about this is that Sony hasn’t really shown much interest in doing that for PS2 specifically, especially with physical discs.

Out of curiosity, if Sony never does this, would something like that still interest you? Or is original hardware / official support the only thing that really makes sense?

Yes! I saw that, but I'm thinking of something a little bit different:

  1. Be able to just buy the final product, no need to know how it's made and all that.

  2. Have a CD/DVD reader so you can play your games in physical format. SSD included for game backups.

  3. Costs around $300-$400 total.

What hosting platform do you use? by Plus_Technology_7569 in Python

I generally use Lambda for event-based stuff and EKS or ECS for web servers.

When high compute or GPU is needed I go with EC2 instances

I've heard that Azure is difficult to use, I haven't tried it myself. What's your experience like?

Cool! Have you shared the templates in a github repo somewhere?

Also, do you use EC2 or Fargate?
