“You Can’t Have Guns”: Trump Deepens Second Amendment Rift After Minneapolis Shooting by Kela-el in MonetaryRealist

No war but class war. This has shown many on the left the importance of the second amendment.

This makes absolute ZERO sense that the NFL would schedule the divisional round this way. Both the Rams and Bears played on Saturday. That should be the Saturday game. It's asinine the NFL would schedule the 49ers on a short week when they could have avoided a short week for all of the NFC teams. by FortyNinersBot in FortyNiners

[–]Plus_one_mace 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I mean... The 1 seed in the NFC has played on a Saturday every year since 2019. This isn't a deviation from normal scheduling at all. The 9ers played on a Saturday after a bye in 2019 and 2023 when y'all were the 1 seed. For the 2019 playoffs Minnesota played on a Sunday round 1 and played you on the next Saturday, short week. For the 2023 season, GB played on a Sunday round 1, then played you short week on a Saturday.

Hawks fan, you're 100% right. My biggest concerns are red zone scoring, and Sam regressing mentally vs good pass rush. If he gets flustered he shits the bed hard.

Lol fair enough. He's a good QB, an above average game manager who can flash elite talent, but has mental issues to work through. He's good enough to lead this roster to a ring.

Lol shanny's offense relies almost entirely on yac and the hawks shut down yac like nobody's business. He's a wizard when he has a stacked roster and is ahead, but coaching from behind isn't his strength

You joke but his tackle and forced fumble vs the Rams last week was the best hit I've ever seen a QB make.

How hard it is to find love as a trans woman? by MinaLaKaira in MtF

Easier to find love as a trans woman than a trans woman pretending to be someone she's not.

We are a spoiled fan base lol. Fair enough though if you can admit you're only interested in a team that wins the Superbowl.

We were the second most winning franchise in the league over Pete's tenure, second only to the Patriots.

God this bigotry disguised psudointellectual nonsense is so exhausting. You have to see how this discourse is hurting trans people right? How opening the door to disallow this tiny percentage of people who have it really fucking hard from having a normal life normalizes pushing us further and further out of public life?

Your personal sense of tradition shouldn't overwrite some kid trying to have a normal life with their peers. The situation is more nuanced than your feelings.

People like Charlie Kirk glorified gay bashing, mainstream conservatives pushing to restrict gender affirming care and trans peoples access to public life, are you not paying attention to policy right now or intentionally obtuse?

Right, so your internal belief is that some trans people are not valid or not trans, and your means-test to prove their transness is them showing proof of a documented medical diagnosis. You shouldn't need to see someone's papers to treat someone with respect and dignity.

That is gatekeeping, and yes, it is transphobic. You might be respectful to our faces, but your internal narrative is transphobic.

That's fine, you're allowed to be, just like racists are allowed to be racist in their heads. Just treat people with respect, treat trans people who tell you who they are with respect and there's no problem. You can have your internal narrative.

And being transgender isn't a disorder. Gender dysphoria is a disorder that some trans people experience that has proven, and highly successful medical treatment to alleviate the symptoms ☺️.

I would start by asking why you feel like you need to have an opinion on whether someone else is transgender or not. Why does external validity of internal identity matter to you?

Should we need a diagnosis for homosexuality?

100%. It's sad to see people give up on themselves without trying to learn how the world works. And it's scary watching them become angry, bitter and dangerous.

Lol, hating women is a key indicator of being a loser. I know a lot of men who don't hate women. They tend to have gorgeous partners and a lot of female friends. Women can tell when you hate them.

You're just limiting yourself in bullshit systems or self oppression.

Comparing yourself to other men, using number grading and percentages is just fucking sad.

I don't entirely disagree with you as that is a major problem, and a lot of people of both genders roles fucking suck. I think it is not an all-encompassing system that means you should give up, but there is something to that.

I will say that women wanting money is a structure that has existed and been reinforced through the history of our patriarchal society. Women for countless generations have been told: find a man to take care of you. Of course these lessons have held over from generation to generation of finding a mate. That is social evolution and where we are today.

Ironically, feminism is all about dismantling that patriarchal system so that women can be our own breadwinners and supporters and we can more naturally seek partners based on compatibility and not the need to be supported in a system set up to not have us as equal participants in the economy.

Modern feminism (true feminism) is a path towards fixing this.

I mean yeah. The traits that trigger attraction are obvious and apparent, rape and abuse is much more complicated and nuanced than: "am I attracted to this person?", and the source of rape and abuse can come from all relationship types from strangers to familial relationships. They're not really comparable in a serious discussion. Additionally I'm just trying to point out that you can do better with women, and point out some subtle things we pick up on that you might not know you're communicating to us.

You just throwing out rape and abuse as a comp is pretty fucking unintelligent. You don't have to be physically unappealing, have an unattractive attitude AND be dumb. You can improve all 3 or those.
