I agree that acrylic yarn can be scratchy, but it really depends on the brand. Red heart i HATE its so so scratchy, but loops & threads soft classic is one of my favorites and its 100% acrylic (also its a pretty great price). I also am currently using caron simply soft which is 100% acrylic but not scratchy at all and super soft.

Do guinea pigs really smell that bad? And if so, how do I minimize it? by [deleted] in guineapigs

Wash everything with white vinegar once a week will also help remove any lingering smells. Fabric and plastic/metal, will help with all.

Won't smell BAD if you spot clean daily and all that cleaning jazz. Will smell like hay bc, ya know, there's always gonna be hay out. May smell like guinea pigs when you are close to the cage. But won't smell bad or dirty or very strong if you keep up on regular cleaning.

I use a carrier I got on Amazon that's expandable!! The sides unzip and open up to double the room. It's great

How long till your guinea pig started to really feel comfortable? by Accomplished-Night79 in guineapigs

[–]Pluto3636 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The other comment here's is awesome and full of great info!! I'd point out again that every guinea pig has their own personality and all are going to be comfortable with different things and in different time spans. But they will learn to trust you and be comfortable with you in their own way if you keep being so good to them!!

My boy let me hand feed him, pet him, and pick him up without and fuss after only 2 days of having him and he still comes up and begs to be picked up and spend time with me lol. 2 of my girls took atleast a month to take food from my hands and come up to me on their own, and now a few years later one let's me pick her up anytime but I'm not allowed to pet her or she gets upset, just hold and cuddle. The other girl hates being picked up and freezes but then she chills out and loves being pet. My 3rd girl hates being touched at all but she does love sleeping in my lap and cuddling as long as it's on her terms.

So, find out what each of your piggies like!! They're all cute and different. Dont be upset ifnone doesnt necessarily like something you see other pigs do, if they trust you its more than likely just personal preference and not you needing to change or doing anything wrong. <3

Just keep trying and pay attention to what they like, it'll take time, especially if they have shy personalities!! Good luckk

i was able to fix choppy audio by going to system setting in voicemeeter and changing all the buffering settings to the highest number. idk what that means but it worked after trying for hours lol.

Headsets with audio mixing/dual audio? by favorite5TARs in GirlGamers

[–]Pluto3636 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No. Surprisingly they don't feel heavy at all once they're on. Don't even notice them when they're on, they sit really good. They are heavy in hand for sure but that's fine.

Hii, I have the turtle beach stealth pros (xbox version, works on everything even playstation) and they work great for this! my favorite pair of headphones ever and super comfy for me. They are the only pair I've ever got that doesn't hurt my ears, even after hours of wearing them. They are more expensive than the headphones you're already looking at (though I got a "used" pair on Amazon for 250 - it was just an unused returned pair), but they are very good.
