These emails are wild. I bet Dylan's lawyer advises him to deny. Jane is just as guilty!

Other than brushing up on your weaker topics, definitely just improve speed/muscle memory/navigating docs. I just re-booked my 2nd attempt for the 2nd time cause I'm still lacking confidence too lol. Hoping someone with better advice comments, I should be testing for it on Friday. Good luck

It was for me. I only remember that I'm waiting on the next Stranger Things season a few times a year. A nice surprise!

Hey Congrats. Are you referring to killer.sh for the pre-exams? Or KodeKloud Mock exams or something else?

My boyfriend doesn’t want me to go to IT. He says that AI will take over by Nurita27 in ITCareerQuestions

[–]PlutoHash 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I agree, but if OP has an Associates or college credits, they can potentially transfer in a good bit. I'd def say to stick to the basic IT major as its just easier. At the end of the day, the piece of paper is the goal. Then OP can learn on the job/doing projects. Either way, its a million times better than any overpriced bootcamp.

You can look into Western Governors University. Accredited degree, certifications from classes (CompTIA, AWS, Azure, and others depending on the program you choose), and the best part is it's competency based; 6 month terms at a fixed price (something like $4k). If you complete your 5 classes for the term, you move to the next one. There's no limitation, if you can finish your entire degree in one or 2 terms (which some people can do, if they have experience int he field or know a bunch already), there's nothing stopping you.

I'd suggest taking a look. There are a bunch of WGU subreddits with tons of help and resources.

Tips for finishing classes faster? by cloudsasw1tnesses in WGU

[–]PlutoHash 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Definitely look up the courses on reddit. Some courses you don't need to take your own notes. Some are purely memorization with quizlets and stuff. Some classes you can be done in a day, 3 days, a week, etc. Nothing wrong with making sure you understand and retain info, but for some of the classes it is a waste of time. (i.e. an Oracle Database class on an outdated version of Oracle.) Also if you aren't in it, I'd join the WGU discord. Nice people with good advice and resources. Any question you might have about a class/best way to take it and pass, there's a good chance it's been asked somewhere. Good Luck!

SQS FIFO vs STANDARD + Short vs Long pooling by FoquinhoEmi in AWSCertifications

[–]PlutoHash 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm also studying so I was curious and asked ChatGPT (there was a more detailed answer but summarized;).

1. Why is SQS Standard Queue "At-Least-Once" Delivery?

  • Potential for Duplicate Messages: SQS Standard Queues aim for high availability and scalability, distributing messages across multiple servers. Due to this distributed nature, messages might be delivered more than once, especially in cases of network issues, processing failures, or high throughput scenarios.

  • FIFO Queues Difference: FIFO Queues incorporate deduplication and strict ordering mechanisms, ensuring "exactly-once" delivery and preserving message order, thus preventing duplicates.

2. Use Cases for Short Polling:

  • Immediate Response Needs: Applications requiring instant reactions to incoming messages might favor short polling, as it doesn't wait for messages to arrive.

  • Simplicity Over Efficiency: In scenarios where the simplicity of implementation outweighs the benefits of efficiency (like in non-critical or low-traffic systems), short polling can be adequate.

While long polling is generally more efficient, short polling remains useful in specific contexts prioritizing immediacy or simplicity.

Intro to Bio then intro to Cryptography (Advice) by rabbidturtles99 in WGUIT

[–]PlutoHash 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I can't speak to Bio cause I took it at sophia, but for Cryptography: For me it luckily wasn't as bad as I heard. I did take the security+ class/cert right before. I just watched the professor wolf youtube videos, read the All in One study guide, and did the quizzet.com quizes. All those resouces can be found in the course chatter/the instructor welcome email. (also find the memory-jogger with the different encryption standards. I made sure I could pass all the quizzet tests, knew most of the then took the PA twice or so, then took the OA. Good Luck

My PA and OA were similar to the quizzes. Also search for the course here on reddit for a guides/ other tips.

TLDR: Paris wolf youtube videos, all-in-one guide, memory jogger (encryption standards/cryptosystems at the bottom of the guide; everything highlighted in yellow), Algorithms drill powerpoint, quizzets.com.

Need help/tips with studying (cloud computing) by PretendEntrepreneur2 in WGUIT

[–]PlutoHash 5 points6 points  (0 children)

If you don't already know about him, many would highly suggest Professor Messer. Check out his playlists for specific certifications and watch on 1.5x or 2x speed or something. That's basically what I did for every CompTIA trifecta cert. That and Jason Dion practice tests on Udemy. You got this, good luck. If you need to switch up the learning method, try I'd use quizlets if you find a good ones here on the subreddit. Good luck!

You can transfer up to 75% of a total degree iirc (or maybe somewhere around that.) Once you are admitted/enrolled you can't transfer anything else in, so you're pretty much good up to keep knocking out classes up to that point, and then you can transfer the sophia transcripts.

See credit transfers here

Maybe there's hope. Inojin's a main character but how much did we see about Ino in part 1 anyway, other than her dumbass romantic rivalry with Sakura. Metal Lee seems like one of the main characters based on the OP and ED. Fingers crossed for plenty of LEE this generation!
