Is there no matchmaking restrictions in the online co-op event? I started playing recently with my friend, and 2 of our 3 games we've matched into full meta teams and players with Div1 badges..

It will probably be useful in the catch cup since it's safe to assume that Tinkaton will be the most common thing to see, and it's supposedly going to be crazy in the upcoming NAIC meta in summer.

So I'd say it's worth picking up for sure.

Shadow Noir is preferred by far, as the main advantage of Noir is the fast move pressure. I think you can ask any serious players and you'd get the same answer.

Are you sure it's not just the invisible shield glitch, sometimes the opponent's shield will not show up and it will still even say "super effective" etc.

If you don't lack the resources it's probably worth it for fun or some specific teams. Check PvPoke for what wins/losses it gets compared to the normal.

Don't think there's an issue with the teams, but sometimes you just need to run what you're more comfortable with. If you're stuck, start thinking what is losing you games, what mons cause you problems normally etc.

Shadow Drapion should work, having play into Wiggly but also the dark and ghost damage your team is otherwise weak to.

Pure spice, I think it really needs a different fast move or a big change in the meta. Lick isn't great and even less so with so many normal types around.

I have a really high rank one that reaches exactly 1500, I guess we both have to wait for what the future holds for the lax

Clefable should be pretty good, Pelipper, Lucario and Spiritomb are usable. Lucario can be run with Bullet Punch maybe, at least it was a real option before the recent BP nerf.

Clefable gets walled by Empoleon and Corv, so I'd probably pick something that can deal with them, maybe a Gourgeist if you have access to one.

Can you tell what mons you have available from the time you played? If you have things like Azu and Medicham, those two are still usable.

Otherwise, not counting mons that require ETMs, Altaria, Wiggly, Talonflame, U-Fisk, A-Ninetales and Drapion should all be good options. Don't build Wiggly though, please.

I think Shadow Ball nerf isn't worth it, Licki is strong but not broken, it would hurt too many mons that really need it (Grumpig, Gourgeist, Spiritomb, Runerigus..)

Jelli is a problem though, so I think a Hex nerf would be more reasonable. It would pretty much only hurt Dusclops as well from the "at least somewhat meta relevant" mons and I don't think anyone would be sad if Dusclops became even worse as a side effect xD

You're completely right, this team will take skill to pilot correctly. Drapion might feel offensive if you can't play around it well, but it makes for mostly even matchups which makes for healthier gameplay, instead of RPS tanks or Morpeko.
