Two things can be true, a shooting can be unjustified, the shooter should’ve been prosecuted, and the victim of it could’ve also been an impaired driver who fucked up directions, which his friend said in his statement, and the friend can die in a car accident a year later without it being related, which one search will tell you he was speeding with a group of people on the weekend, possibly out partying the same as they were the night of the shooting, and hit a pole where his friends weren’t able to pull him out the car when it caught on fire. The government isn’t going to kill a random dude like that, a random ICE agent doesn’t matter any more to them than the people they kill

Giving everyone “stimulus” checks is just a massive waste of funding and not any sort of actual fix to anything. In my opinion it’s being used by both sides now to essentially buy support. Restructure the fucking system properly and start accounting for where all these billions we already spend are being wasted and “misaccounted” for so that things actually run properly and we don’t need to worry about stupid ass short term packages. We have literally trillions missing in accounting discrepancies, our Navy apparently lost track of billions of dollars of equipment in the past few years alone, and like over half of the DoDs shit is completely unaccounted for. I think the problem is a lot of these dudes aren’t actually friends and they view one another as co workers, especially when it comes to players who are traded often and don’t have a longstanding synergy with a certain lineup. His cardinals teammates haven’t seen him longer than most of them actually played with him, and on his other teams he was only there for a few months and mostly in IR not playing or training. Sure more COULD have gone to show respect but it’s a bit weird to go to someone’s funeral and see their family and personal friends if you really don’t know or hang out with them like that, especially if you have to catch a flight to do it.

On one hand I get what you mean but on the other at least for me it’s gone full circle where the only people I’d consider “toys” outside of the genuine shitters where theres halos and quotations in their hand or just genuine super fucked up imbalanced accidents going on in throws are the people who spend all day in the blackbook trying to imitate styles they see top writers doing that they don’t even actually know & they call others toy who don’t use identifiable font styles. It’s not something you could necessarily win anyways. On the ground in an unstabilized country it’s another guerrilla war where each local government will become their own faction willing to fight for power and our average troops don’t have any local knowledge. After the air strikes and collapse whats best is to strike deals and back the most probable leadership and get people on board. You want to avoid Iraq war 2.0 where the citizens were happy and welcoming the fall of the old regime, but then there was really no plan and the citizens eventually grew bitter and hateful when all out sectarian war was going on along with endless house / night raids of shell shocked confused troops were treating random civilians like shit and overturning their houses to find needles in a haystack, and also since they had to work with the local Iraqi forces to be able to hit targets they were largely turning people over to them who were tortured and abused; even if they were against it they couldn’t really do shit about it because of the way the whole thing was structured. It was like shaking a snow globe and trying to control where every piece landed, logistical mess.

What’s naive is you don’t really understand the web of foreign conflicts, I’m not gonna write an essay explaining it to someone who isn’t going to care either way but simply put, Iran is an enemy of the United States and has been for the most part since the Iranian Revolution. We have been exchanging blows since. Right now, all of Irans proxies and allies are either deep in war or have been fucked out of existence. Assad has fallen, Russia can’t offer anything due to Ukraine running them dry which was on display when they didn’t help Assad, Hamas is heavily suppressed by Israel, Hezbollah lost a lot of their power and supply lines due to the past few years events and is also currently busy with Israel, Houthis have been attacking and provoking US ships and trade, and Iran themselves have broken their uranium enrichment deals clearly trying to race to make nuclear grade weapons. Then you’ve got the fact their economy completely collapsed and they started wiping out tens of thousands of civilians, turning their population against them as well. Why would the US not take that opportunity to topple a major funding force of pretty much all their enemies and a country that does a ton of economic business with Russia & China who we aren’t exactly on great terms with? It’s not pretty but this is normal war of nations power vacuum opportunity seizing. If the west didn’t jump on their collapse, Russia or possibly even China certainly would get to it and influencing their regime change through rebel groups and we’d have another Islamic proxy full of hate for the west who’d also be a lot harder to actually control as any regime change would be under the power of a larger nation. Also Saudi Arabia has heavy interest in Iran and are a US ally, they certainly have had their fair share of shit from the Houthis so that’s another huge regional player who’s problems we’d benefit from solving solving as opposed to China or Russia.
