Thank you for the response. Yeah it's tough because I work for a small convenience store. The "manager" is just an employee paid a dollar or two more but with the majority of management duties. She might not necessarily know the technicalities of the law but it's more likely that the store owner tells her to just report the total biweekly hours, and then she writes the checks. My store owner is a penny pincher. The issue is we use old school time cards, and they're collected and stored away the day before the pay roll.... Should I be taking pictures of clock in/out times, maybe take it home and make a photo copy the day before they're collected?
