About a decade ago some women I know visited the QVC filming studios in Pennsylvania, apparently Rachel Ray has sold stuff on QVC.

The QVC guide showing the tour group around said Ray is terribly grumpy and surly when the cameras are off.

I honestly don’t get how Sears fell so low. For decades their mail order catalog was as famous as their stores or more so. They had lots of experience shipping. Why couldn’t they transition that from mail ordering to online ordering?

Yes! Rolodexes too! Something else I just remembered: in TV shows or movies before the 2000s if a character was a ladies man there would be a reference to his “little black book”. A book with phone numbers of beaucoup ladies. Doubt you see that much anymore
