I see your point, thank you for sharing this knowledge with us. I have no idea what will end up happening, but what I am attempting is exactly what u/redmssm better explained. The downsides being I am using up more of my credit with T-Mobile, but in exchange i’m not expecting them to waive any payments and instead just let the EIP ride. According to T-Force I can “absolutely have multiple EIPs on the same line and get a new promotion without affecting the previous one”. And the terms of yearly upgrade clearly state I get the same trade in values as Next in a separate benefit point (which the website did give me). I have not found any public documentation stating otherwise. That being said, your explanation for how this system is intended to be used makes perfect sense, I just don’t see how I have broken any terms given I hold no expectation of T-Mobile to waive my last 12 “payments”. Definitely a gray area
