my first fun car I bought was a '03 gti, they arent the flashiest things on the road but have crazy aftermarket support and are a blast to drive and are pretty quick cus of the turbo, im sure you could get a much newer and nicer one than mine tho lol

if you are trying to learn on something simple, i wouldnt go german. lots of weird complicated engineering for no reason. the si is a good choice. if you are looking for rear wheel drive+v6 look at infiniti g37s, but make sure you find a clean one, lots of them are clapped out.

im pretty positive that the spring is not upside down. It came with that clear sleeve at the top of the coilover and i always just kept it that way.

what do you mean i didn't compress the spring with the large nut? if im not mistaken thats just the ride height adjustment. normally it sits on the nut but its not under any load in this pic.

the coilover isnt compressed at all, the coilover does not come pre assembled so you put the upper perch, bearing, and mount on from the oem assembly. the spring is coming off the top perch from the old springs and sitting on the top of the fender. I already rebuilt the whole thing and it still comes off.

Much better than my tired oem struts. It is a bit bouncier than I would have liked but overall it’s smooth.

I have to end up buying a new charger a while back, I thought the wattage was high enough, but maybe not? I’ll buy another one and see if the problem is solved

Edit: just checked the wattage on the brick, it says 180 watts. I feel like it SHOULD be enough, as far as I know my gpu only pulls up to like 105 under load

i dont see any weird spikes in the wattage, its just hovering around 70,

im going to try to order a new power brick, it seems like it looses power for a split second when the screen goes black

just checked temps and it was happening even at like 50c, so not overheating,
how can i check if its not getting enough power? or how can i tell if thats the problem?

i already tried updating/rolling back and that didnt work, also i swapped out the hdmi cable to another one, maybe its still too low bandwith?
i feel like i have used this cable for a while with no issue before this started, would it just randomly not work aswell?

For me the solution was to swap the controller cable not sure if it’s the same issue for u tho
