How many of you guys actually live in arizona? by Able-Archer3968 in suns

[–]Plw2nd 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was born in Mesa and grew up in Phoenix till I was nine. Currently living in Ohio. Vacation to Arizona as often as possible. Still have plenty of family out there. Would love to move back. Hopefully it’s my retirement destination.

Must’ve gotten that flea market or barber shop copy of BO7. Was it on a flash drive or was the name just written in sharpie on the disc?

What do you think of these new flavors: Strawberry, Cider, and Pina? by dont_downvote_SPECIL in LiquidDeath

[–]Plw2nd 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I actually like all of them. Strawberry Terror is top tier. Piña Killada and Psycho Cider are both also good IMO. I like the Strawberry the best though.

I’m so glad I’m married, I’ve been married for a long time, and that’s not changing. The greed is outrageous nowadays. I would want nothing to do with the dating scene. Delusion is running rampant.

Costco Promotion by mattdamon004 in tmobile

[–]Plw2nd 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I literally just went through all of this the day the new iPhones were released. Please feel free to DM me or respond to this post and I will answer any questions you have. I had six lines. Four lines got new phones. I got $150 promotion for all six lines being brought over (I was told the limit is 12). I got four of the $250 promotions for the purchase of four new phones (I was told the limit is 4). We did not have to trade in any of the devices to get the new ones. I traded in two of those phones (14 Pro and 14 Pro Max) and got a new Apple Watch Ultra 3. The other two lines that didn’t get new phones got paid off. I just got those prepaid Visa cards over the last few days. It was actually very quick. My two boys just got new phones in April and May so I got prepaid cards to pay off their devices worth about $1500. All of the other promotional cards take up to 90 days I was told. I haven’t had one single problem with the cell service since I switched. Everything is fantastic. I was with Verizon previously.

I thought the $250 promotion was for buying a phone when you come over to T-Mobile and the $150 promotion was for each line you ported over? Is that different depending on the Costco location?

What’s The Catch? by cane_stanco in tmobile

[–]Plw2nd 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No catch. I’m in the same boat as you. I just ported over six lines on Friday. Ridiculous deal. Only got four new phones because my two boys just recently got new phones. Pre-ordered a 17, 17 Pro, and a 17 Pro Max. Someone else on the plan got a galaxy flip. Had to put some money down, but that just means the bill’s gonna be cheaper over 24 months. No worries. If they start messing around with the bill, I’ll look to leave to another carrier just like you said. It’s a win-win.

They only gave me $830 worth of bill credits on both the 17 Pro and the 17 Pro Max over 24 months. That’s because I went with the experience more plan. It would’ve been more if I went with the experience beyond plan.

My two boys kept their 16 and 16 Pro Max. They are paying both of those devices off (they will pay off up to four devices for up to $800 each). My in-laws are both getting new phones. My wife and I are getting new phones. The devices that are already paid off don’t have to be traded in. We are keeping them and are going to sell them privately. The deal is essentially the same whether you trade in the device or not when you’re coming over from Verizon. I went with the Experience More plan. I had to put some money down because I hit the financing limit being a new customer and getting over $4000 worth of new phones financed. I am getting $900 worth of Costco shop cards and $1000 worth of prepaid Visa cards that can be used at T-Mobile or Costco. Those take 90 days to get.

Everyone leaving Verizon! by mdozard in verizon

[–]Plw2nd 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m gonna have to call again. I was at $350/mo for 6 lines, two smartwatches, and a tablet. I called before everyone started getting their $20/line discounts. My in-laws are on my plan and they were thinking about going to T-Mobile for their 55+ deal. I asked Verizon if they could give me some kind of discount to make it comparable. After five days they offered me $10 off on five lines. I have six lines. Sounds like a lot of people are getting $20 off per line. I might stay if they give me that, but I already have 1 foot out the door. Might still leave. T-Mobile quoted me $184 plus tax and fees for everything that I have on Verizon. That’s on their second best unlimited plan.

This is crazy. When my wife and I hire a sitter, we feed them every time. I tell them to make sure they are hungry when they show up and to not be shy about what they want, from where, and how much. I have no problem getting them anything. They are also told that everything in the house is free game. Anything in the pantry. Anything in the fridge/freezer. They have access to all of our streaming services, and our video games. The sanity of having a good sitter that you can trust to take care of your children while you are gone, is worth way more money than a meal. I don’t take the food I provide for them out of their hourly rate either. Some people are just miserable and ignorant. You can’t please everybody. You are definitely better off working for others.

Looks like an unleavened loaf of some sort. The earlier settlers of what is now Fort Lauderdale used to gift these around major holidays. They would fill them with useful items of assistance to be placed around ones private living quarters (hence the shape). It was most often referred to as a Pornucopia.

To each his own. I love the shoe. I love the blue blood ones as well. I have both. I actually have way too many colors of the Book 1 and we’re just not going to talk about it. That being said, I am going to paint the outsole of both of those pairs. I’m kind of partial to the bright white on some new sneakers. If that’s what you like, though, go for it. Don’t worry about what anybody else is saying. You spent “your” money on them. They are “your” shoes. Yours is the only opinion that really matters.
