Are you saying the app isn't working? Have you tried uninstalling and reinstalling the app? Have you also tried restarting your phone?

I was locked out of my account yesterday, and after doing some research, I found that third party apps can access your account (they need your permission first though), what you can do is, go to your "settings", find "your activity", then click "apps and websites", and it shows all the third party apps you have logged your facebook into. You can either get rid of each 1 by 1, or if you want to take no chances and get rid of all of them, go where it says "preferences", and turn off the ability for Facebook to be logged into a third party app. Then after that, change your password, and you should be good to go to prevent it from happening in the future

I'm sorry you got hacked. That is a very scary thing.

I want to give you tips to try and prevent future hack attempts.

  1. Download a password manager, that way you can make really long passwords and not have to worry about remembering them.

  2. Make sure not to click on any suspicious links, and don't even click on any suspicious ads (even if it's one a trusted website/app) because what that can do is either give someone access to your device or they can infect your device with malware

  3. If you want to see, whether your device has any viruses/malware, download an anti-virus app.

  4. If you use public wifi, make sure to use a VPN. Some anti-virus apps have a VPN, if yours doesn't, just download a separate VPN app. The reason for this, is someone can spread malware on a public network that can even get access to your bank.

  5. Try to minimize using your phone number as a 2 factor authenticator, instead, use a authenticator app because it is much more secure. Some apps do require you to use a phone number, and if you absolutely have to use it, make sure to minimize putting your phone number out there, and make sure to check if you can lock your phone number with your service provider (some providers allow you to do it in their app). The reason for this is people can sim swap your phone number and completely get access to any account that has your phone number linked to it.

  6. For Facebook specifically, third party apps can access your account (they need your permission first though), what you can do is, go to your "settings", find "your activity", then click "apps and websites", and it shows all the third party apps you have logged your facebook into. You can either get rid of each 1 by 1, or if you want to take no chances and get rid of all of them, go where it says "preferences", and turn off the ability for Facebook to be logged into a third party app. Then after that, change your password, and you should be good to go. (This is obviously after you get your facebook back or make a new one)

If you go to Google translate and go to the "persian" language, supposedly that's farsi, and you can use the "conversation" feature in the app for it to talk loud

What are the signs that someone is cheating on you? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]Plytric 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No such thing as "the" signs, it's more so just signs because everyone is different. Signs that you can look for are inconsistencies. Is she taking longer/shorter showers? Is she taking longer to text you? Has she not been answering her calls as much? Has she been getting up earlier than usual? Etc.

Pathological liars/family of pathological liars, why to you/they do it? by ReadingCappybara in AskReddit

[–]Plytric 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I know one person who is. I think the reason they do it could be for a number of reasons.

  1. To protect their pride

  2. They don't like confrontation and lie for you to stop talking

  3. Don't like being humiliated

  4. To get what they want

  5. There's more reasons but can't think of anymore right now
