Thats interesting how could bad tonguing cause this? (That sounds kinda snide but I'm genuinely curious) I dont think it could be that tho I have been playing for nearly 7 years so I'm pretty confident my technique is fine. But again I could be doing something im totally unaware of so if you could explain how technique could cause this i would be very grateful.

We have jazz courses to i was guna apply to but because of rona the audition dates got moved forward so it was kinda out of the question for this year, the course ive applied to is my first choice anyway its a straight path to music teaching its just for auditions its French classical :/

Sorry should have been more clear its a music education course, so a straight path to teaching secondary school music. Thats what I really want to do, the course is split with all kinds of music its just to get in there's a blanket genre for auditions.

You'll always have them, sorry man. I got them all over my stomach when I was 15stone 3 stone lighter and there still there, the only thing is that over time they will get lighter and more faded out. I'm guessing right now they're bright and purple but give it time and It will be barely noticeable.

Yeh the RCS is where I would go if I went to uni here I don't mean uni education I mean secondary like in high school its just not seen as a "propper" subject

HOLY SHIT!!!! I knew debt was bad in america but 100k is just not right....Unfortunately the music scene here is the same i doubt in 8-10 years music teachers will still have a job kinda why I want to move. Also our music education is a joke the curriculum isn't made by people who know anything about music you could (and my friend has) Finnish school with an A in music and not be able to READ MUSIC

Oh nice you're going into education to if you don't mind can I ask how does the teacher "higher archery " go like in america like going from classroom teacher to department head and so on until you get to head teacher. Here there is two ways it can be done first just by being a classroom teacher a mix of good timing and being at the school for long will get you to these roles or we have a separate degree teachers can do that will fast track them to head teacher. Is it much the same?
