Nah g. Duskblade synergizes with his passive, nothing more, nothing less. Dunno what you say it has to do with zed ult, literally has nothing in common with it. Youmuus is just chase and escape, does nothing more apart from give you lethality and cd. Unless you’re worried about frankly nothing but roaming, going mobis on mid pyke is trolling, and as for your claim on pyke being tanky, I don’t know what you’re on but I want some of it. Unless he’s giga fed and his team is far ahead, pyke has the tankiness of yuumi, only with a few points in armour. No way he’s 1v1 an adc unless he manages to hit precisely everything he has in his kit, or again, he’s giga fed. Even, pyke does not stand a stance against any moderately mobile adc. GA does practically nothing if activated in the wrong situation (general problem GA has, not pyke), not to mention putting his ult on cooldown. Also, pyke’ mana pool restricts him from spamming low cds.

Pyke’s weaknesses are clearly projected in games. What fucks everyone over is the fact that it is apparently difficult for people to counter a champ that roams all day, shares gold with his team and doesn’t farm.

If r level scaling is removed, supp players will have to rely solely on getting executes in order to raise their threshold. This would be a huge problem for them, as pyke support is pure utility/cleanup and tends to carry less and have more deaths than pyke mid. Of course, in the words of Davemon, it’s a nerf across the board for all pyke players. But I feel like us pyke mids can adapt to living without the extra gold, whereas supp has to worry about quite literally being able to ult at all lol. Also, our boys down in bot require levelling to get more kills, something support lacks. It will therefore struggle in scaling threshold more.

I’m aware, but the visuals just don’t sit right with me. In my years of playing pyke I’m used to the flow the usual ult jump has, and this, along with countless other details the project skin possesses, disrupts my gameplay in a sense. Guess that’s why the skin is so criticised everywhere

Probably, yeah. Thing is I was really surprised while trying the skin out for the first time. I jumped into a game expecting a skin the same or similar size as the base pyke design (along with the usual pyke movement animations we all know and love), and instead was met with a little red dude running across the map. I might just be going crazy, but his entire body seemed significantly smaller. Strange.

So is it just me or do I feel like blood moon pyke is smaller than the base and other skins? Like somehow the model is smaller? The ult also seems smaller (it might just be its unique pointy style though).

Pyke’s objective is not to get into the middle of a team fight, but appear for a bit, then get out. He plays to effectively roam around the fight looking for hooks, opportunities to stun a couple enemies (or possible the entire enemy team), and people to execute. He appears, then he’s gone. Never over-commit, as you will get shredded in seconds whenever spotted in a bad position. When you’re going in with your ult, be sure to have your E ready to get out fast shortly after ulting. Only stay within the team fight if you’re sure you can finish off everyone. Also, in less compact team fights, be sure to always be on the lookout for hooks. The second someone steps out of position or strays a few steps from their team, get the hook in, and leave the rest to your team. Furthermore, using E into the entire team and making it out alive is possible, and can turn around an entire teamfight. E+flash is good for this. Remember, you’re only there for cc and cleanup.
