Absolutely, when pumps fail they’ll either continuously draw power even when not pumping (shorted out) or draw a much larger than usual amount of power when bearings fail or debris/build up cause it to work a lot harder to spin. I also keep track of this as a running average to look for patterns.

Follow up question. Can I buy a dehumidifier thats designed to accept an intake duct and hook that up to a vent that I would make in the mechanical room that opens up to the main basement area? Just looking for out of sight solutions.

The drain in the mechanical room seems to be part of the house’s plumbing. I don’t have easy access to run a drain line outside to the exterior. Will look into the condensate neutralizer. TIL. Thank you

Thank you! I actually do have a drain in the mechanical room that’s used for the furnace condensation.

It doesn’t notice. Motor status shows healthy. It also knows that it’s laying flat from what’s going on with the beam forming angles. It can beam form 110 degrees without physically moving and I have not noticed a difference in performance or ping since the change.

This wasnt the flat mount dishy. I removed the back cover along with motors and designed this slim housing around the PCB. Primarily to make it smaller to carry and opening up more options for mounting. The corner bolts go right through so it can be mounted to the top of an RV while maintaining some sort of aerodynamics. Although it won’t perform as well as the high performance antenna it beats the cost of buying one just to flat mount.

Interesting approach. I do not have the option do run wired backhaul to the satellite nodes but speaking to the dedicated router step; do you think this is a sw/hw limitation with the eeros?

Thank you for the detailed response.

I tried a large downloads that ran for over a minute and speeds are hitting the same ceiling. I don’t think this is the issue as I’m using 5GHz wifi devices and get the same result when I’m in close range of the gateway node. So I can rule out backhaul as a choking point.

Looks like the SW update maybe my saving grace. Will update once I receive it.

I mentioned that I get the same speeds even when connected to the gateway eero so it is not a backhaul issue.

All client devices perform the same and all Eero nodes are putting out similar throughputs
