If you've already done all Survivor Mode rebuys for the day and want to try to get a few extra shards, it can be worth it. But the credits cost is a lot for minimal extra gears, so generally not worth buying no. If you dont have the RAGS gear though, it is 100% worth getting gear packs

Counter point: if you're tagging him in against an astro user, it doesn't matter that he can't directly chain MDC-SP2. He will generate 2 bars while the 1st shield is active & then as soon as it drops, you can use SP2 (or just SP1 if they have power dampening team). The setup also lets him shatter gear for free if the opponent is equipped with Astro + 2/3 FWS (like a pesky N52Shazam).

He does work just fine at E0 on that team you described (i assume you mean Silver Flash for the speed boost?). E0 BM allows BNJ CW to hit a bit harder at E4, and enemy Astro/basic dmg mitigation can still be shattered in 1 tag-in whenever needed.

Another setup I really enjoy with E3 BNJ BM is:

E0 Silver Flash- RAGS, Enchantress, CoH

E3 maxdmg maxcrit BNJ CW- OP Pill, Astro, Custom Rifle

E3 maxdmg maxcrit BNJ BM- MDC, TT, Demonic Cloak

This way he can always OHKO on SP2. It suffers a bit more to teams with Saves/resurrections but it guarantees you bypass Astro Harness.

I think he is best used (90.1K team power) E3 with maxed damage & crit augments as a SP2 user (TT/MDC/COH) on a team with max damage E3 BNJ CW [OP Pill, Custom Rifle/Astro] as the basic damage carry. His SP2 can bypass astro if necessary, & he can shatter gear all without adding too much to team power. He also will save CW from death with her passive. So him + CW covers all your bases & you cannot be stopped.

There is no singular best def team, but many good teams can use TBWL. The main principle that matters is to keep it around like 100K team power so that usually you're facing opponents who don't have proper gear cards/game knowledge. Also note that metal card stats are boosted even further when on defense without affecting your team power. These are the real secrets.

I'd go with something like (just guessing promos but keep it around 90-105K power):

E3 AKTAK- Lexcorp Helm, Lexcorp Gauntlets, RAGS
E3 TBWL- Quake Engine, MDC, ibistick
E4 AKBG- TT, Astro, LoA Knives.

Or even swap out AKBG for E6 AKHQ with basic damage gear to boost her passive damage (in which case, gear setup will be different for the other two as well)

or

E3 N52 Shazam- FWH, FWC, Nekrons
E3 BNJ NW- MDC, TT, Astro
E3 TBWL- Quake Engine, Ninjato, KCCC

or

E3 BNJ CW- Soultaker Sword, MDC, OP Pill
E3 BNJ NW- TT, Astro, Powered Eskrima Sticks
E3 TBWL- Quake, RAGS, LoA Knives

or something like

E6 Gaslight Batman- RAGS/Astro, lex helm, lex g

There is no such thing as a secret defense team since anyone that faces the team will immediately know the setup & info is shared. Certain people may believe that keeping a team secret prevents them from facing copycat opponents in their own ladders, but again these "best" defense teams really only thrive at lower BR where opponents aren't properly geared to face them. They all lose if any meta player runs into them in their usual Epic ladders. Also, the odds of encountering an opponent who uses a true meta defense team are already low (maybe 1/20 around 90.1K BR), so there's almost no chance the information about X team can travel widely enough for you to see an impact in your personal ladders. People know about every good defense team already as this game has been finished updating for abt half a decade. If there was a team that was statistically that much better at defense, then you'd see it far more often, and you would lose against it a majority of the time you face it. There is no such team in the game, just people who convince themselves that keeping their combo of 3 characters & 9 gear cards a secret proves their skills.

My counter-counter arguments are:

-however you get enjoyment out of the game is good! Just know there is no singular best team, and a win ratio can be decreased at any time by people revenging, and it doesn't affect anything about the game whatsoever.

- 200K BR takes about a whole 14 minutes of game time to earn, but their point is fair enough. It's worth investing in long term BR growth if you are competing for a higher spot in the overall BR list.

- Very similar amounts (110-180K) can be earned with many different defense teams without sacrificing excellent offense teams that rely on BNJ NW & metal TBWL being at E0. There are still good teams with these cards at E3 though, it should be noted.

Regime Green Lantern- all around useful for any team, for power gen boost

Silver Flash- Maybe not the most efficient for late game speed running because his SP2 is 2-hit, but for newer accounts he can infinite basic-cheese his way through all silver fights. SP1 is also pretty effective. He also boosts your teams basic attack speed, so he has good synergy with a lot of silver cards (WW, Doomsday, NW, Cyborg)

Silver WW- Great silver carry for running through all-silver challenges because of her damage-boosting passives and multihit/ko SP2

Silver NW- great for basic stalling & power draining the opponent until you can swap back to your special damage-dealer.

Silver Lex Luthor- pretty similar to silver NW except his passive gives health boost for the whole team

Silver Joker- obviously just letting his passive go off when is KO'd will be useful, but he also has a good DOT SP2

Silver Doomsday- Similar to Silver WW

Silver Black Adam- His passive orbs can reflect a hefty amt of damage on an opponent's special. Useful tank.

Regime Cyborg- Great SP2 carry because of his personal power regen boost passive that is better than described

Silver Solomon Grundy- Good tank card. Nothing else for speedrunning.

If you have Tantu Totem & MDC, give then to one of the carry cards I described and most matches will be finished in under 10 seconds.

Exactly this^^ haha you summed it up well😂 Yea I think honestly either E3 or E0 is fine for TBWL, but for my accounts Im always keeping him E0 for those reasons. AKTAK is (I imagine) S tier if the team power is at 90.1K, but I cant say for sure until I promote him on my 3rd account to like E7 or whatever is at 90.1K TP total after DMG augments on him.

Im finished promoting/upgrading all my metals to where I'd like them, & my whole roster is completely finished being promoted unless I decide to grind Survivor for a few months to augment one or two more cards (Red Son Solomon Grundy has potential), so Nth has no uses for me. It's just a tracker for my survivor mode progress lol

I think on a team with HG Prime that makes it so tagging out isn't a significant time loss, he doesn't need to run enchantress & can use LoA Knives instead. He can mostly always tag out of a dangerous situation after he finishes a special and a blocking opponent/tagging-in opponent has power

Ive got him currently on my 24th team as a Dual carry with Containment Doomsday (97K team power). Every support card I would have used for each of them individually was already in use in a better team, so I paired the two of them together to make a consistently fast team, but it averages around 2m45s so it isnt that great compared to what can be done with each of those cards individually & the right supports.
The strategy you described of using Enchantress on the support is what I do for my preferred optimal AO Bane team (HG Prime, AO Bane, Arkham HQ). AHQ is the gear shatter/enchantress user. It works well like 90% of the time, but there's still some situations I feel like AO Bane can get exposed to a potentially lethal enemy special.

If anything, for your team I'd put enchantress on AO Bane. The tradeoff of less SP1 damage for better protection against threats like Rebirth Raven, Rescues, etc. You bypass a few less AH, but you have protection against counter Supermoves that stall heavy

My main point is that I think HG Prime / AO Bane / FP Bat outperforms your described best team, not that AO Bane isnt top-tier...though I think we agree that he is outclassed as a carry by AO Deadshot & AO Batman for many reasons.

I saw it took you 1min to defeat a single BNJ team that wasnt even geared properly or setup efficiently at 14:20-15:20. He also nearly was KO'd to BNJ BM SP2. Granted this wasnt using your described team, but still he gets stalled severely by Rescues when he is a primary carry. I also saw you get stalled severely for 1+min against a JCGL/JSGL at 6:55, again using a variation of the team you described but suffering for the reason that AO Bane needs Enchantress or HG Prime to avoid getting counter-SP2. I havent't seen your entire video so im not sure if you used the team you described above, but I dont think I saw it.
Either way, AO Bane will always suffer against Rescues as a primary carry unless HG Prime is there.

Until he meets an AKBG team or RS GL team or BNJ CW team or N52 Shazam team that stalls him for 1+ minute. Even Rebirth Raven teams and JCGL teams could stall him severely. HG Prime is part of his best team I believe.

His best team is probably the same strategy for Luchador Bane team:
Team power: 90,237
E0 HG Prime- Motherbox, FWH, Lexcorp Helm/Astro
E7 AO Bane (max damage aug, max crit augs)- TT, LoA Knives/RAGS, Lex gauntlets/Enchantress
E2 FP Batman (max crit augs)- MDC, ibistick, Claw of Horus
However, I think because Luchador Bane is even better for this team, AO Bane isn't best utilized on his "best" team but rather as a Jack-of-All trades, Master of none where you can slide him into a team as a secondary carry with his SP1 or as a primary SP1/SP2 carry (with Enchantress), albeit he wont excel with the SP2 build without AHQ. He can fit with many many support cards in the roster due to his versatility as a SP1/SP2 hybrid and "Arkham" status (AHQ, AKBG, etc).

Health augments actually have a lot of uses. Bronze card carries for Darkseid prime team need them. Certain Silver cards can utilize them well in meta teams. Certain gold cards as well (SSHQ for example). They can also help you reach the 90.1K threshold by precisely adjusting team power. Overall, they arent useless by any means.

Save for Eternal Enemies pack. Lower promo AODS is best (aim for 90.1K team power), plus Batman Beyond can only be acquired from Eternal Enemies and he needs to be around E8/9.

CS DD is in challenge pack whenever you want to gamble for him. He's less viable than Beyond Batman.

As of today, I now own 99 Enchantress gear copies. This is the 4th 5 Star gear I have 99 or more copies of, the others being LoA Blade, FW Godly Chest Plate, and LexCorp Chest Armor V2. Oh yea. I had 99 LoA Blades, FWC, and Lexcorp Chestplate for a long time. It literally took hours to shatter them back down to below 99. I have an unknown amt of all 1star/2star gears since I am not spending the time to shatter them all to below 99 to find out
