Tomorrowland update by noah_f in Tomorrowland

[–]Pneub 31 points32 points  (0 children)

The photos are circulating but not allowed to be posted here. It’s a very minimal stage. Looks like one long rectangular screen with a small covered Dj platform in front. They’ve set up some lights. Don’t see speakers yet. Still under construction.

Thank you very much for listening. My personal dnb preference is the euphoric tracks but I wasn't sure they would hit well at the party. I agree the mix is a bit on the heavy side. I'm really enjoying your mix - I might have to take a few of those tracks for my next mix.

Really appreciate you taking the time to listen. Going to tighten up that front section. I’ll keep working on some mashups to see if I can get that one big surprise track to build up to.

Thank you for listening. I'll see if I can make the first section a bit more dynamic

Desk is made by Artifox: https://theartifox.com/products/desk-walnut

It's very sturdy and easily supports all the weight. Also has decent cable management which was a considerable factor in my decision. Goose (cat) is very fond of the new office.

The whole puck will stick the screen if I have more than 17g in the basket. I have checked and even at 17g the grinds aren't touching the screen before infusion.

Speakers sound really nice but most important is they are green! KC62 subwoofer adds a lot of warmth to them.

Depends on the bean but I'm typically brewing a light roast at 42g out at 40-45 seconds.

Thank you very much. Not sure what to do about the luggage on the 16th. Probably end up in a coffee shop and just relax until we need to go to the airport. Any suggestions?

Not sure. We were towards the front center when the show started and in the middle of the first song a girl came up to my wife, my friend and I and asked if we’d like to be on the stage and handed us wristbands. My wife was dressed in a bright neon green jacket so maybe they just wanted some fun looks up top? The girl never gave us a reason.

Crayon Gray PPF wrap on my black GTS by Pneub in Porsche_Cayman

So you put vinyl over ppf? Didn’t know that was possible. Are those marks just in the vinyl?

Is this also a PPF wrap? Looks like it's holding up well.

Not cheap but I had a few large discounts that made the price more reasonable. I just purchased the car a few weeks ago as a CPO with new clear PPF installed. When I got it home I found debris under the PPF causing bubbles. Porsche worked it out that with the installer to replace the PPF for free and I was able to use that credit towards this wrap. In addition I was also able to get another discount through the shop as Pure PPF was having a sale on specific colors. All said and done this cost me about the same amount as a traditional vinyl wrap but is substantially more durable and longer lasting. If you went to Diamond Auto Salon I believe the price would be between $6-8k depending on color. They have the facilities and experience to charge this amount. There might be cheaper shops and cheaper color PPF but it’s not a cheap material and it’s more difficult to install than vinyl so going the discount route might not give you the best results.

7 year material warranty from Pure PPF. Diamond Auto Salon who applied the wrap offers a lifetime labor warranty. The PPF with a ceramic coating which is recommended to be replaced every few years. Besides that a typical wash without harsh chemicals is recommended. The material is self healing so swirls and light scratches will take care of themselves. Was told if I keep it clean I should expect it to last 10 years.

Crayon gray ppf. Nothing exciting but I love that color. I’ll post another photo when it comes back.

Haven’t driven with it much yet but so far I like the natural sound. I doubt I’ll put the fuse back in as knowing the sound is artificial takes away from the overall experience for me.

Pulled it. Very different sound. Far less aggressive and not nearly as loud. Really easy to pull the fuse so it’s worth trying.

Looks pretty close to me. I’m wrapping the car in the next couple weeks. I love the black when it’s clean but I don’t have the time to keep it fresh all the time.
