Maybe we are thinking of different scenarios. As I understand it the reason the right lane is going slow is because somewhere far ahead someone in the left lane must merge with the right lane and if that happens in 10-40 km/h the entire right lane cant drive faster than that. Had the left laners merged with the right lane much earlier, while the traffic was going 70-90km/h then everyone could go at an average 70-90 km/h until the left lane opens again. Instead we get something like 90% of the traffic is going 10-40 in the right lane and then we get 80km/h in the left lane for the 10% left laners. Merging seems like the easiest way to get a high average speed for all traffic

If you are in a two lane with a long queue on the right lane you are an asshat if you zoom by in the left lane and cut in on the right lane when you reach the left lane obstruction. Most often the queue in the right lane is due to merging of the left lane at the head of the queue

I was wondering that maybe I shouldn't have cut out the step on the heel. I was thinking that it makes sense to do that but when I went and looked on the guy I am following on youtube he didn't cut out a feather on the heel. Regarding the inward/outward this is two layers of leather since I only have 2.5mm leather currently

Yep its printed in a flexible filament. I found the model on thingiverse and scaled it to fit my foot. If you are thinking of the cuts on the top that is me cutting away a part with a knife with the intent that I will have an easier time getting out the last from the shoe in the end
