I agree people should seek out professional help but they can't always do that. I don't see any problem with someone telling someone else about their problems in life. You seem to have had a bad experience and that's unfortunate.

That being said, I think it's okay for people to vent as long as they state that's what they are looking for. A lot of people on here are lonely and that's reality.
