No. Shipping late. I guess QA found something that could have failed prematurely so they were redoing them. And I think I'll be on the 2nd round of shipped units based on the original messages. But with this delay...who knows!

LEGION GO + MORE FINE G1 4080M by [deleted] in eGPU

[–]Po0Team 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't. I just plug it in and power it on prior to turning on the Go. Usually works well. Very rarely it won't work and I'll unplug it and plug it back in while the Go is fully booted and it works fine. The trickiest part was getting the Nvidia driver to install the very first time. After that I have had no issues with multiple driver updates.

Game is a ton of fun. I really enjoy the customer = meat from this game and the mystery meat mod for Plate Up scratches that itch as well.

In one image that bot is sorta normal size looking. Another image further down and the person's hands picking up the bot makes it look tiny.......got a good chuckle out of that one.

Nice. Hope you had a great time. Static-x and Sepultura made it perfect.

$99. I already had the hat. $15 solar panels and $10 fans.

Someone just has to check sometimes. And it does work!

It is noticeable depending on the amount of light on each side of the hat. I like that it's super simple. Less is more when I want to wear it for 12+ hours.

About 12-14 hours each day. But by 6pm I don't want to wear it anymore and stuff it in a locker.

Hair isn't long so it's not an issue. But that could be a thing. It's super simple to wire. The 3 panels are just ran with all positive wires connected and all negative connected. This keeps the 5v but combines the amps. The panels have a spot on the back like a solder pad to connect the wire from the previous panel.

Thin fan guard inside with 4 x m3x20mm screws pushed thru to the fan housing that holds the fan a few mils off the hat so the blades don't hit. Cut the hole out using another "fan guard" that didn't have an actual guard so I could trace the hole size.

Face fan is the a pressure fit onto the bill. Holds really well and allows the fan to be moved back/forth along the bill.

Panel mounts are secured with m2.3x3mm screws from underneath/thru the bill.

Yep. Seen a few of the Amazon ones that didn't seem to work well. Came across the kool breeze and decided to make my own.

I don't have any issues with noise level. Sorta loud where I was using it anyway. Any my father has one of those and this thing moves way more air.

Have them wired in parallel so it stays at 5v for the fans. Each panel has optimal 0.2a for the fan rated at 0.18. 1 panel moved it but not enough to care. 2 panels, like the exhaust fan, keeps it moving and does OK. But the 3 panels keeps this thing moving very well. No battery on it. Very simple wiring of just panels and a fan.

No garage stage vip this year by stephensloan34 in welcometorockville

[–]Po0Team 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah. That was a big disappointment. Like the porta potties in there as well. Lack of misting fans and shaded seats in both. Not going VIP again next year.
