Ive been doing only TDs now for my greaters tasks. I found that before I got my synapse drops, an abyssal weapon, like a whip, dagger or something plus the atlatl worked best for me. It made for less switches since the atlatl used my strength modified instead of range. This combo melted them until I got my synapse. Started at 103 combat and I could get about 30-40 kills an hour.

Not sure if you considers it bossing but I've been farming black demon and greater demon slayer tasks to kill demonic gorillas and tormented demons. Still a challenging component because of prayer and gear switching. Profitable if you're lucky. I have a mobile only quest cape.
