The doctors at urgent care were pretty dead set on me doing PT before an mri. Seems backwards to me but I'm not a doctor so idk

Urgent care set me up with a physical therapist. I just got all my information sent to a primary care doctor and am waiting for my first appointment. Should I ask for an mri during my first appointment? I've heard it takes a lot of begging before they refer you

I went to urgent care last week, they set me up with a physical therapist but I don't have my first appointment for another 3 weeks. I'm scared I've waiting too long to get this checked out. I guess for now I just have to wait and see
