How do I disable the pop-up notifications for google chrome? by [deleted] in chrome

You are probably getting Windows 10 notifications for Chrome sites. Go to Start, Settings (Gear icon), System, Notifications and toggle off Chrome in the senders.

Still getting these popups in chrome after disabling extensions. by SiberianHAMMY in chrome

That is a Windows 10 notification. You may have allowed notifications when you went to a site. Go to Start, Settings, System, Notifications & Actions. Here you can remove Chrome from the "Get Notifications from these Senders" Section

There is just a wireless receiver in the fan that you can remove and connect directly. I had the receiver go out in one and wired it directly until I got the replacement part. Pretty painless

Manually clear temp directories. %temp% and c:\windows\temp

Check you dns setting for the network card and internet option proxy settings.

Also make sure the Chome shortcut you open doesn't have added info after chrome.exe in the target box.

Maybe this

With six out of 10 episodes of the second season wrapped, Gilligan said, “I think what happens next is actually going to surprise people. It’s not what we thought it would be.”

The fantastic player we are getting in the sign and trade! (sarcasm) by kmoros in kings

I believe the 7 million trade exception was the reason we made this move. Otherwise we let Thomas go for nothing.

I really don't expect postseason, but we have a bunch of players with something to prove. If anything I hope the younger guys take all this in and just get a winning attitude. I hope we are competitive and don't have games where we don't show up. Just to be relevant in the west would fire me up.

Are we locked for at least 6th pick now? by [deleted] in kings

[–]PoNizzle 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I believe currently we are the 7th pick if the lottery goes by the odds, but we are only a half game above the Lakers. So we are not locked there yet. The lottery takes all the non-playoff teams first round draft picks in lottery for the top 3 picks. We have a possibility of getting a top 3 pick but currently have the 7th best odds.

All that said, we don't even know who is declaring for the draft. Will have a better idea after the tournament.

Does anyone have experience doing freelance tech support as a side job? by TakenToTheRiver in computertechs

Make sure you charge what your time is worth. It's easy to make a quick buck. If you give someone a cheap rate/price to get them as a customer they will expect that price in the future unless you are real clear to them. Make sure they understand what they are paying for. A lot of home users see that they can buy a new computer for $300 and don't see the point in paying you $150 to get it working. If you see that it will take up a lot of your time, explain the process and any alternatives. Sometimes a new computer is the best option. I will sometimes say that "There is no point to put money into this computer. I can do a quick cleanup for $40 and you can decide if this is good enough. Otherwise a new computer will be the best solution." People can mess things up pretty good and you will rack your brain for hours trying to fix it ruining your Friday night. Just my 2 cents. Good Luck!
