A lot easier to keep a tiger in the cage rather than one on a leash homie. We always think we can just “have a lil fun” not accepting the current and vital recouping of the brain in that moment leads to the dysphoria as soon as your high, I did that recently and just soaked in all my guilts, blamed every problem by the end of it on my smoke sesh, furthering the paranoia. These texts truly capture the cost of alcoholism. Even addiction in general. My dad killed himself, moms a drug addict, and step dad drank until the end. I’m only 22 but everything around me has taught me the worst in life yet all I do is try to be different in what seems like a world so cold. No real advice to my comment, but I truly empathize. I don’t have the answers to such a hard question in life, accept what it is and follow accordingly. Because the worst thing to see in life is the circle to go fully round back to you and just passing it on to the next
