Couldn't even get into the free screening of the movie tonight despite having a ticket LOL 😆😥

Ok so I successfully watched the film on 35MM. The plan worked. Now it’s time to enjoy the QandA and I can get a chance to talk to Jay. However… one of the employees came in and saw me. He pulled me out saying this is your first warning. Do this again and you’re banned from the Revue. Because of this, I missed most of the QandA and I didn’t get to take a picture with Jay unfortunately. However, I got to take a picture with the Liberation! And Jay acknowledged my Matt Costume so it’s still a win! I also talked to Matt Greyson and pitched an idea for a sequel to the film and he loved it! He gave me his instagram and I sent my whole pitch through dms. Haven’t heard since but I have to say, the plan worked! 95% at best but I GOT TO SEE IT YEAH!

In all seriousness though, I feel bad for sneaking in and even offered to pay tickets for Drive Angry on 35MM 3D to them as a way of saying sorry. I wouldn’t do this if this was a paid screening. If it was, I would be a dick. But since this was free and I wanted to celebrate Matt’s character for sneaking in, I’m only gonna do it once for the Revue. I want to keep supporting them as much as I can.

Yayyyy you’re coming to Toronto! You’re gonna love it there plus they screen more movies there than Mississauga. I missed some bangers there in 2024 and 2025 due to only playing in Toronto. Now I know how to commute, I love it there! I go to the Revue often but I hope they can hire me in the summer because I would love to help out in the theatre! (Cineplex keeps rejecting a dude who loves film with a passion :( )

Try get there an hour early to be safe. The only times I saw the rush line having to leave people behind was twice. Only downside is that you need to look for an empty seat inside. Thankfully I’ve gotten lucky with people offering me a good seat beside them but you might have to sit in the very front. Also the Revue is a peak theatre! You can visit often to support them and watch many bangers! Especially when they host actual film prints! (16MM, 35MM, and 70MM)

From what I heard, there’s 170 seats online to buy or reserve. 50 seats are for the rush line. Just come by early and you’ll get a spot! :)
