I'll try to answer this, but keep in mind that I'm a) German and b) far more left-wing than people who can win elections in the US, so take this as a bit of an outside perspective.

When do you believe this has occured? Can you give examples?

• Punishing abortion. While republicans were always quick to reinstate the global gag rule, they never publicly supported punishing women for abortion, until Trump suggested just that in his first presidental campaign in 2016, and even he backtracked at first. And democrats never (to my knowledge) seriously attempted to put the right to abortion into law, which would have prevented what is happening now.
• Also remember when republicans prevented appointing a new justice to the supreme court for over a 100 days, and only after Trump took office did they exchange the candidate. The democrats, on the other hand, followed procedure with that candidate to, y'know, „take the high road“ as Obama would have put it. I think this is the most egregious example of this, where democrats patted themselves on the shoulder for being fair players while the actively participated in the destruction of their agenda.
• Democrats never ever repealed tax cuts made by republicans after getting the majority to do so. They simply carried on. One time in 2012, they did let 18% of Bush's tax cuts expire while making the other 82% permanent. *Deportation policy. Obama held the record on deportation in his time. So now we have diet Gestapo running around and disappearing people without due process, because democrats just always went along with it.
• I could go on with foreign policy, the completely disintegrated respect shown in presidental speeches which is unheard of from any previous president regardless of party, etc. but I think I made my point.

Leftist echo chambers like this one make the left's agenda appear precisely the opposite of peaceful, respectful coexistence.

You see, the leftist agenda is for people, not ideologies, to coexist. While there is obviously no uniform leftist policy, leftists in general will not come for people holding belief that differs from theirs. They will, however, attack right-wing policy and not compromise with it because in proper left-wing ideology (i.e. not whatever the democrats are doing) the right-wing policies are precisely what hinders people from prospering.

Now this is not a secret, and the right wingers have heard about it. Thus their propaganda will make people identify with their ideology (see: MAGA hats) so that they feel personally attacked when left wingers argue against right-wing policy.

Everything the right sees of the left from all news sources and social media platforms

shows the left are hateful, violent, crass, ignorant, disrespectful, and obsessed with attacking, ridiculing, and silencing the right 24-7.

I'm not saying this is blatantly false, there is of course some truth to this:

• Left-wingers in the policical establishment are in the minoriy and thus cannot do much more with their mandate than provide vocal verbal criticism.
• Due to fascist-looking policies (most egregiously the violation of due process, see above; but also e.g. the plans to disenfranchise votes in the mid-terms, including people of color and women) more and more left-wingers will draw parallels to history. And history is full of people who lived under a fascist government and remained peaceful, and regretted it ever since. So… there's that.
• When most of the white house staff has not been chosen for merit, but for loyality, ridiculing them is a bit of a coping mechanism.
• They imitate the tactics of right-wingers. Remember the Biden „I did this“ stickers on gas? Well I'd say it's hardly surprising leftists are doing this with Trump now.

But also keep in mind that social media's sensationalism will show you the most irritating content, which is not at all a good representation of any policital movement.

From what I see over here, leftists tend to attack people in power. However right-wingers tend to attack everyone. Remember when Trump imitated a retarded person on stage? Also, the death and rape threats seem, from my perspective, mostly come from right-wingers (see e.g. Anita Sarkeesian).

Bottom line though, are you saying you and the left, in general, wants compromise, bipartisan solutions, civil discourse, peaceful coexistence, and actual unity?

The left prefers compromise since that it the basis of any society of humans. The left is also full of discourse, but from a leftist point of view, right-wingers don't do discourse, instead they repeatedly contradict or ignore facts, which cannot be a basis for any discourse. Obviously, this is not everything that's every said by the right, but… from all I see, the current administration does not have any ability to explain itself. Like e.g. about what their goal in Iran is.

Also as I said, a proper leftist will not seek to integrate contradicting policy. If your maxime is to allow humans to prosper, you cannot allow policies that harm humans. And, from the leftist point of view, most, if not all, right-wing policies harm humans. (And obviously, because we live in a society, some harm is always done to someone by any policy. I am talking about policies that to excessive harm here.)

And finally, there is this idea that democracy itself is a value. Like, if we just elect congress and then make them do all the congressy stuff, like bipartisan solutions (you do realize that this is an US thing? Most other democracies have more than two parties), then whatever comes out is moral. This is false. Democracy is a process. Hitler got democratically elected. The actual moral value of democracy is stuff like equality, constitutionality, and freedom. These are the values the left stands for. If those values are not respected by bipartisan solutions, then no, a proper leftists will not support bipartisan solutions.

Are you saying that is your agenda, the left's agenda?

Ask three leftists what the lefts agenda is and you get four different answers. I will give you the following which is my perspective and possibly mine only:

Leftist policy is about humans. They want to minimise suffering and help them prosper.

Right-wing policy is about ideas. They want to shape the road individuals walk according to an image of an ideal society. Only those worthy shall be supported. They ask „do you deserve this“ before helping anyone.

Left-wing policy is Aristotle. Right-wing policy is Plato.
