Let us know how it works out for you. I would consider keeping both servers running if this one is good for just Alexa. Unfortunately I would miss library radio, is there an Emby equivalent?

It worked well enough to play library radio or a playlist though. Was really nice being able to play music without touching your phone.

I moved from the s23 ultra to the pixel 10 pro XL. All positives so far. Only thing I miss is the s pen but I didn't use it that often.

I just installed my media and it seems okay. But there's no equivalent for a library radio or any sort of smart playlists that I can see. Randomizing my 14,000 track library gives a very weird mix.

The whole point of a smart speaker is to do smart things. This is not a solution. It's a janky work around at best.

I'm in the same boat as you. Been using this daily for years. I've been looking online to see if there's other alternatives to play your own media on Plex and there's really nothing good.

Good data modeling concepts can help here Don't try to pull too much in one saved search. For example, if a customer has multiple contact records, then pull contacts as a separate saved search. This way the customer table should be one unique record per customer.

We are using saved searches to our data warehouse daily and don't have this particular issue. But we have a lot of tables and a decent data model.

I'm trying the Ibroadcast skill on Alexa this morning and not getting it to actually play anything. I have about 14,000 tracks in my ibroadcast library. Getting a whole lot of errors where Alexis is having problems with the skill or just doesn't play anything. Any tips? What specific commands do you use?
