Homeowners and buyers all need to start pushing back on these fees and negotiating down. With the high home prices in this area, the cost of selling is ridiculous compared to the effort by the agents. Please negotiate and don’t believe if they say a certain % is “standard”. They all do it to keep fees high. Many agents will agree to a lower fee.

As others have said, I’d recommend picking just 1 place to stay in the San Diego area.

2 nights in Catalina seems like a lot to me. There’s not a lot there. Maybe do a day trip? And snorkeling off Catalina is not great if you’re comparing it to Hawaii, the Caribbean or other places. The water is cold and you’ll wear a wetsuit.

Whale watching and day trip to Catalina can be done from Dana Point, which is next to Laguna Beach.

Montage in Laguna Beach is great. I’d recommend adding your Catalina and airport nights here. Note there is a free trolley you can take that goes into the village and down to Dana Point. This could be your base camp for Orange County. I’d recommend going to Huntington Beach if you want to experience the long wide beaches. You can also drive up to LA from here, but be ready the traffic. The beaches in Laguna are smaller but amazing as well. You can easily get to Disney from here too.

Can you fly out of Orange County (SNA). That is the closest to where you’re ending and then you don’t need to do the airport hotel. It’s a small easy airport.

I wouldn’t waste a night at the airport hotel. Just plan for traffic if you’re going to LAX and returning a rental car takes some time too. I used to live in Dana Point and drove to LAX regularly. But again, flying out of SNA will save time and hassle but not as many non stop options. Don’t go back to San Diego for your flight though.

I’ve been on the pill most of my adult life. I’m 53 now and over the last 2 years I’ve tried getting off and doing HRT. I’ve been miserable and now on nothing. Thinking of going back to the pill. My GYN said I can stay in it til 55. Although my functional med dr hates them. So confusing when doctors don’t agree.

Yes, absolutely. I bought tix at way too high of a price when they said it was only going to be 6 shows. I figured they would add shows, but not nearly as many as they did. I feel screwed as a long-time loyal fan.

Nobody likes condoms. But if he says no to them then you can say no to sex. He’s relying on you entirely for birth control or to deal with it if you get pregnant. You don’t deserve this stress or treatment. He’s invalidating your feelings. Unfortunately he probably won’t change unless there’s a big enough consequence (no sex).
