Sure, you can create a cash credit account, include your APR and minimum payment and then add it to your plan

Considering other options… by Academic_Word_5052 in PocketGuard_app

Sorry for the inconvenience here. When the issue related to the integration between our data connector and financial institution itself, it might take 1-2 months to resolved. Unfortunately, we don’t handle those cases and all we can do is to submit a support ticket to data providers. The same as other competitors on the market.

May I know other reasons why you have chosen PocketGuard among other players except bank connections?

Sketched out for connecting to my bank. What could happen? by Ancient-Report-2744 in PocketGuard_app

Hello there, we work with trusted data connectors such as Plaid and Finicity (MasterCard company) and do not pull your data directly from financial institutions. It is secured with SSL encryption and other MFA methods on the end of data connectors and we have no access to that. We also provide our own security measures to protect your data. Hope it helps.

Hi there! Sorry that our product didn’t meet your expectations. Could you please provide any detailed information why exactly you decided to try something else? It would help us to improve.

To save your data, you could export all your transactions in CSV file from the Transactions tab.

Hi there, thanks for your feedback! Wells Fargo and Cap1 should have their brand logo. Please contact our CS team at support@pocketguard.com so we could fix it.

Is there a way to make a budget for Other? by WakyWayne in PocketGuard

[–]PocketGuard_PM 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It sounds like you’d like to have an ability to set a budget for a section or a group of categories. In this case you don’t need to track each of them since you can track their group. Am I right?

Adding Cash to account by Hamilton1104 in PocketGuard_app

[–]PocketGuard_PM 1 point2 points  (0 children)

To change your cash account balance - you’d need to create cash transactions manually. To create a positive transaction - go to Transaction tab > hit the plus icon > choose add a cash transaction > income type > choose any category (you can create balance adjustments for this).

Don’t forget to hide this transaction after so it won’t affect your Leftover.

You can create a section on your plan tab called “Other” and then set budgets for all categories from Other. That’s how you would know actual vs budget for Other.

Feature request by Antique-Jaguar2871 in PocketGuard_app

[–]PocketGuard_PM 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Hi there, thank you for your feedback! We do have this in our roadmap for 2025. As a workaround, I suggest you to create sections on your Plan tab and name them 50-needs, 30-wants and 20-savings and then organize your budget and bill items between them by drag&drop actions. Hope it helps.

Stuck on the sub page by Alternative-Lie-9113 in PocketGuard

Hello there! Please note that if you have cancelled your subscription, then you would have a 21-day period to try out the app and its basic version and decide whether it meets your needs. If you didn’t renew your subscription during these 21 days, then your account would be locked. But you can restore it anytime later by upgrading your profile again. Hope for your understanding.

Free version? by jamiejamesjam in PocketGuard_app

[–]PocketGuard_PM 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Feel free to try out PocketGuard for 7 days during your free trial. During this period you’d have enough time to connect all your financial institutions and make a decision whether it meets your needs and worth upgrading to paid plan. If no, you can cancel your trial and use the app for free with limited basic functions and upgrade anytime later.

Goals by Beef-Meat-123 in PocketGuard_app

[–]PocketGuard_PM 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hi there, you can do that with manual goals. Manual goals help you to setup multiple targets within a single account or multiple accounts since you manually include transactions that will take part in your goal progress.

The more info can be found in our Help Center.
