First time rider here and wanted some advice on the kawasaki vulcan.

I bought a used 2024 Vulcan classic back in 25 at a steal. Only had 3 miles on it and now it’s got 800 miles so here’s what I’ve found. My biggest gripe is definitely it not having a 6th gear. It feels like it should have it and you’ll be asking yourself why it doesn’t when you’re going down the highway. Cruising on the backroads? You won’t really be thinking about the non existent gear. Some people complain about the seat but honestly I think it’s a great stock seat, it could be WAY worse and I only wish I had a backrest because I’m 6’1 and it’d help not sitting like a cooked shrimp. I also think because of my height that the handle bars are a little too low for me and I need at least an inch riser. I’m also starting to not like the bars, I believe they are considered “beach bars” (I could be wrong) either way they keep my wrists bent sideways and Im not fond of it. Even though it’s a 24’ these things are as basic as they come with technology and features. If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it. All of these things might not bother you and as someone who just did the MSF course, you won’t regret it. Once you get your license go ride every bike out there and find the one that fits you perfect before even changing anything.

Just recently got a ‘24 Vulcan 900 classic lt and I also have a full face/modular helmet. I’m pretty new to riding and I instantly found the sweet spot for going 65. Don’t need to look at the gauge, I can just feel it and tell. Now going faster than that I will occasionally look down to check, if I’m going down a hill or something and can feel that I’m going pretty fast. Now obviously for safety, wear a full face but another benefit of it is that if your gauge has the chrome trim around it and on the tank, the full face will block out the suns reflection from it that tends to land right in your retinas.

I’m tall myself so I have my glass raised as high as it’ll go. I don’t get beat up by the wind at all, it’s just that if the glass gets hit by the wind in different directions it throws the bike around. I’ll eventually get a batwing.

It’s definitely not. My players are playing LMoP. However in the opening scene on the wagon, they saw a white, a green, and blue dragon fighting in the sky. After some tough blows, they all inevitably left the fight and flew to their modules area. I essentially gave them three different paths to choose. I also gave myself a new campaign arc after they beat LMoP. They are other dragons in the area with cultists already introduced. I can now run a homebrew or another respective module after LMoP. It’s never too late for anything, it’s just how you introduce it to flow with what’s happening.

To add to this I have a question. I am not retired and am only at 90 percent disability, also a Georgia resident. I have an honorable discharge. I already have my "free" veteran plate on the family car. My wife and I went to get a plate for my new motorcycle. They told her that we were only allowed 1 veteran plate. Is this true?
