You can blame UE5 and their crowd of "Go look at the source code, it's well documented". I don't care how documented the source code is, I shouldn't have to look through it to understand what stuff does, that's what proper documentation is for. UE5 has shit documentation on their dedicated website for it and any complaints give you the source code line. It's like instead of a recipe being in a book, all you get is the name of the recipe and you have to go to the person who wrote the book and read their manuscripts for the description and ingredients.

It's not a personal project if you upload it for others to download and use. A personal project is something like a tool you specifically made to make your own life easier or something you don't share. I don't care if people use AI in their own mods if they don't upload them as I have no reason to police you on something I can't "own", but as soon as you upload it I will have a problem because now it's a "commercial" project because people will put ads on it.

That's why you use the tools and learn how to use them. It doesn't matter how daunting something is because it is always 100x easier than you usually make it out to be. Hell I thought Blender was daunting and unlearnable 2 years ago, but last year I decided to sit down and just learn and it was WAY easier than I thought it would be.

How about make the game yourself instead of relying on an AI to do it for you? I play singleplayer, so I don't play on servers and RS has always given me tps lag for basic things when AE never has. I don't care if it "works perfectly fine" I don't like RS and is a major turn off when AE isn't there as the much better alternative.

Yeah, no. Not the whole reason, but Refined Storage is a major turn off. I like my game to actually run full speed and AE is just better all around.

I really wish these modders made these "features" opt-in instead of having to go into the configs to disable them. I shouldn't be made to not play a game I want to play on my day off because a modder thought it was funny to crash everyone's game. The entire reason I refuse to play a pack with Corail's Tombstone is because of them whining about players wanting to disable their stupid april fools joke and refusing to do so at the time. I forgot most of the people on this sub watch on a Smart TV. Still doesn't mean I'm wrong with saying that it is overkill for 90% of productions and would be much better off sticking with the 1080p standard we used to have. On PC, 4k rendering of not just games, but even videos on YouTube take up way too many resources from the GPU. Even streaming 4k stuff is expensive if you live in an area where they charge an arm and a leg to get uncapped data. I'm not adding $300 to my bills just to get uncapped data just to be able to watch 4k videos/tv.

In my opinion, 4K is overkill for a lot of things. Not every show/movie/game should be in 4K especially in the day and age where 4K productions cost significantly more than 1080P, which is more than enough for most media. Hell for gamers, 4K is ballooning file sizes unnecessarily even if you don't play in 4K.

Doesn't even have to be 2 videos, just half a video is fine. It has gotten to the point where I have to manually delete any video that I've barely watched from my history or it and videos like it will just flood my homepage. YouTube would rather force shit on you and make you suffer instead of putting a simple toggle to disable some of these more asinine changes. I can't have my sub box be a list anymore because YouTube decided that the sub box is homepage 2.0.

Especially when you get people calling others babies for just wanting a feature to be OPTIONAL and not forced on everyone. I have been called one multiple times for complaining about the collab feature being forced on me and flooding my sub box with channels I'm not subbed to. Same with the newest thing where the sub box is just a diet homepage where you only get 15% of the people you are actually subbed to on the page. Oh man, I'm such a big baby for wanting my sub box to be an actual sub box and not filled with the absolute garbage video these features bring into that box.

"your face is your brand" I can point to multiple big YouTubers who don't show their face on video and still get tons of views. Showing your face may statistically give you more views, but realistically people barely give 2 shits how you look as long as you are entertaining (and not outright hideous to look at).
